All Tesco need to do is say that you need to be a clubcard holder to use DTD and use your clubcard in all transactions, if the person is a new customer then they sign up for clubcard before thier first voucher issue online which would include their address and email address, Tesco only have themselves to blame for a poorly managed promotion that allows multiDTDers via multi email addresses0

Who do Governments and large Corporates alike, approach to strengthen their online security systems and plug holes? Yes, hackers.
Who do the police approach to assist with the prevention of certain types of crime? Particularly burglaries. Yes, burglars.
These are practices employed every day, all over the world, it's called common sense. You want to know how to stop people doing something, you ask the people who do it, how they do it and go from there.
Do you think Tesco became the huge corporate animal it is, by not having any common sense? If they are planning on this being a long term promotion, the spreadsheet produced here, is exactly the sort of thing that they would print off and use in internal meetings, as an example of how sophisticated the methods are, that people have developed to get free stuff from them. They will then pass the info to people responsible for plugging those opportunities, to do something about it.
I do agree with you for the most part, especially the s/s being seen in internal meetings. However, with the greatest respect to Tesco staff on the shop floor, most of whom go into a panic when they see a voucher, I can't imagine the terror a s/s would hold for them. I am number phobic & s/s phobic. I will be amazed if the s/s is being sent to people as is...but then, I can be easily amazed.
Just as an aside, I don't understand how people get to hear and see what staff are doing...I must be going around in blinkers and ear defenders because I never notice anything!! :eek:0 -
