Made a good start this morning, 2 bedrooms done. Bathroom next, started it but needed my lunch; first wash on line; second wash in progress. Decided to do the flying whilst I'm in the mood as that doesn't seem to happen very much lately. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

SSL - not a stupid question, it doesn't have roots that attach to the wall which is how ivy/vines do the damage, nor does it have invasive roots that damage the brick work underneath. It just needs pruning regularly - twice a year, and feeding with rose food when I remember. if you buy one that isn't in flower then they take up to seven years to flower. I can't take any credit for it, it came with the house and is at least 30 years old. I know quite a few people in the village who have had babies from it over the years.
Mrs B - Sorry but I am banned from Lincolnshire in case I go and steal my old cats from my XH!
Turkey is smelling lovely, is it lunch time yet?
Need to get all the spare sheets though the WM and on the line before the weather breaks. I was waiting for SS to have a shower first but he'll have to take his chances now, the black clouds are gathering.
Kazm, the lush eggs sound wonderful. Can't remember if it was you or Kazw that suggested the car hire company but I will check them out. Portugal btw.
Dusty - I know exactly what you mean about in the right mood, but after the last few days I am finding cleaning out therapeutic.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

If you do please try and buy one in flower, then you know it will. It is the right time to look as they should have them now. My cheapish local has younger ones for £25, and in flower for £40.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

I had that at Christmas once with 13 people to feed. I did stuffing for extra bulk. Don't know whether that's possible. Also bacon/sausages if you have any.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
