I managed to delete a long post just as it was almost done. :o Will come back to it later, as I'm running out of time.

    So, for the moment:

Happy Easter (or Happy Bank Holiday weekend) to everyone!

I've had the most unproductive (but pleasant) day so far: visiting x3. Off into the kitchen now to start work on roast pork dinner and rhubarb crumble.

Will be back in a bit. x

    Hi :)
I adapted that poem I left on here earlier, for my 13 year old :)

Bed made in the morning makes for a lovely, relaxing night :)
School bag packed in the evening helps an early morning start off right :)

    Jen :)

All flying done for this week!

HHI completed and only a little bit on the line when it dries - lots out there does not need ironing
All WM done including all dog bits and bobs and drying on the line
Cleaning WM done for last lot of cleaning jobs
Mucky mark removed from LR carpet courtesy of Mr Dog
    Half garden swept
Lawn area (in the loosest sense of the word lawn) de-dandelioned
Runner beans, chard, lettuce, peas sown and peas and herbs potted on

Next door builders kindly removed an unused chimney and reset roof tiles, tidied up and fixed my down pipe to say sorry for being such a noisey inconvience plus they cleaned out the guttering thinking it was then that had filled it up, not the trees. 2 jobs from my list I never get around to doing done!

Tomorrow is fly, sweep back half of garden and tidy that bit up and pot up some plants that need moving on

Off to do some reading now - how come the sun's come out just as I go back inside to work?

next time try ctrl + z it undoes the last thing you did. up to about 5 steps I think.. (guess who uses it a lot?! lol)

KH is excelling himself today.. apparently I am 'unreasonable' and 'a b!tch' because I have planned something with the children on Tuesday (BBQ) and Wednesday (taking girls ice skating) and he wants them to spend the day with his girlfriend on Wednesday.. not just a couple of hours ALL day.. How very dare I plan things for my children when he was given a list of the holiday dates 3 weeks ago and decided today he wants them Wednesday.. He can bog off.. I want more notice. He has been told he can have them anytime beween Friday and next Tuesday now (he can't have them Thursday like he usually would as he has other far more important plans!) Let's see if he actually bothers...

He is having the boys overnight Tuesday to take them paintballing Wednesday but picking them up at 8pm Tuesday (by which time the girls will be in bed!) then leaving early.. and I am unpleasant things because I said no to the girls going.. if he was spending the day with them then I'd possibly reschedule the skating until Thursday.. but he isn't and I don't see why I should alter my plans so some randomer can spend a whole day with my girls.. if she wants children she should have had her own (juvenile moment lol) I can imagine what he would say if I said 'they are spending a whole day just with OH'.. He'd have a right tantrum!!

DS1 turned up with Jacob.. neighbours just woke Squeak up.. gggrr... and I still haven't done the curtains though I have, hung out laundry, folded a pile of dry stuff, emptied bins/recycling/composting and refilled a WM

    Happy Easter!!!
Going a little overboard with the smilies as it's only once a year I can use them!!

Very relaxing day here, have sown some seeds, cooked lamb, followed by pavlova for lunch - the meringue was a little underdone, but still tasted delicious! It's so calorific, I rarely make it, so haven't had the opportunity to perfect the recipe...

Thank you for the washing tips - I shall work my way through them, fingers crossed I manage to remove the stains without dissolving the fabric...;)

    :bdaycake:Happy birthday shortbird!!:bdaycake:

    hex
    - the wisteria is lovely. Pity I can't smell it...

Love and hugs, especially to lady-liberty, toots and lamewolf
