    Hi all:beer:

Another sunny day here in Concrete Cow Country, so we had a 2 hour “walk” this afternoon (Mr LW on foot, me on the mobility scooter). After my little scare yesterday, I didn't do much else today – just made sausage and egg salad, and washed 2 doormats (in the WM, I hasten to add).;)

I see Soappie and others remembering fond times with loved ones who have gone on ahead; Mr LW does that a lot, too, he'll often tell me little anecdotes about his parents. Lately he's taken to including tales of what he and Ro used to get up to as kids, so I hope this means he's starting to accept her far too early departure.:o

At a pub we fairly often visit, the landlord's Dad's ashes are buried under the floor of the canal-side bar, with a plaque on the flagstone that says “Jack 19**-2008. Stand here and have a drink on me” It was Jack's last wish that this should be done.:o

Happierdays healing vibes for Dogbot's poorly paws.

Cheapie very best wishes for you and your DS. It doesn't sound like a heap of fun for either of you!

    Short_bird Hoppy Birdday!:D

Mrs_B please tell Mr Dog that I virtually live on cheese, as I don't eat meat or fish!;)

Jojo Well done on getting Minion to clean her room! I was laughing out loud at your post, and Mr LW wanted to know what I was laughing about!:D

Just trying to get Mr LW to decide what he wants to do this evening - it's like getting blood out of a stone! *rolleyes*
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

The chicken isn't off.. you'd have known the second you unwrapped it!!! They go green and silmy and stink like nothing on earth!!!! I had some 4 days before their date from tesco and they were practically running away!!! I was NOT happy!

It was definitely turning. I didn't want to risk it, but it's good enough for the dog!! it's better than what he pulls out of the bin anyway :rotfl:
I would also rather chuck a cooked chicken in the bin than a raw one! especially in this weather :D
