Beautifully fresh and sunny today, I've been sitting out with the rabbits and the birds, the simple things are the best. I've tidied and cleaned the kitchen and the LR and done 2 loads of washing, veg is prepped for tea, easter eggs found, stuff taken upstairs, DW unloaded and reloaded, done loads, AND because I wanted to :T going visiting when kids get up, think I need to give them a nudge as they don't rise usually till dinner time.
Welcome back AnWsmum x
Soappie hope you're back to full health soon, hugs, get well soon vibes to those in need *mwah*

Thanks, I do virtual hugs very well
Need help please -washing question, DS2 managed to get barbecue grease spattered on his new and extremely expensive white shorts. I've washed them once, with very little result. I've also soaked them for a few hours in diluted bleach (following instructions on the bleach), then washed again - slightly better, but still clearly visible spots. Now what??
I use the Dylon stain reomver sticks, there is one for grease which I find goohappierdaystocome wrote: »

Happy Easter! :easter_os:easter_ba:icotbaske:easter:
Happy Birthday short-bird :bdaycake:
The wisteria is gorgeous hex. Stupid question, but is it the sort of thing that you really need to keep a close eye on? To make sure that it doesnt damage your brickwork etc?
Hope all goes well cheapie...big hugs to you both.
My Easter baking is done, although not that successfully! The Nigella cake didnt crack as it was supposed to. Doh! However, the Simnel Muffins seem to be OK. I'm heading over to Mum and Dads later on. All the clan are gathering. I think I may browse through the latest Lakeland catalogue.
Have a good day folks0 -
Bit dull and overcast here this morning. Neighbours music was kept at a level I couldnt hear until 3am when they turned it up. I was so angry I went out and turned the hose on their garden, they eventually twigged it wasnt rain so hope there arent repercussions although they then did carry on at a slightly lower level of decibels until around 5am. Needless to say tired and me dont go together well especially when anaemic again and need every ounce of sleep. I had even moved to the spare bedroom at the front of the house and could still hear it. Anyway letters of complaint will be written today and I will talk to some of the other neighbours as the house next door to them have very young children.
Need to get dressed in a min as builder should be coming round to give me advice on a few things. He's an old neighbour so it isnt that he hasnt seen me in my dressing gown before but I'd rather he didnt.
Happy birthday to short bird - hope you have a great day
Cheapdate - hope all goes well and you are back home sooner rather than later
Oh and Happy Easter :rotfl: no chocolate here for my two they have a Lush egg and chick instead

I am off to hospital today with my 11 year old DS. He has a 2 week course of IV antibiotics. I am not looking forward to attempting sleep on a fold up bed in a hot, paediatric ward, being heavily pregnant!
If he is 11 why are you staying? I think he is more than old enough to be left overnight while you go home to eat, shower and sleep .. tell him what time you will be back and make sure you are back by then but he won't need you there. He is old enough to understand it would not be very good for you sleeping on a fold up bed and why.
I definitely wouldn't think twice about leaving mine overnight at 11.
Speak to him.. see what he thinks!
OH off to tesco, I am hoping Squeak shuts up bawling long enough to get these infernal curtains run up.. it'll not take long if she lets me get on.. actually.. she might need a nap.... she got up at 7:30.. and OH brought her down about 9 and I stayed in bed until just after 11... he hadn't given her breakfast though so she was ravenous!!
I have 1 front and the back of a new cardy done for her, despite the last cardy takng about 6 months to complete lol.. I also found a white on I knitted for her white never got sewn up so that'll do for the baby.
DD1 has been informed she is not putting a WM full of jeans and stuff in the dryer as it is nice out so is in a sulk as she has 'NOTHING' to wear.. course not dear.. i'll put those 'nothings' in a binbag and charity shop them then shall I?
Best dress Squeak, boob her and get her off to bed.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
