OH has gone off biking this morning and I was going to go with and sit in the trail centre cafe for a couple hours but I got myself so stressed out that Ive decided to stay at home with DD and DS, neither of who fancied going out biking today . I also want to save my spoons for tomorrow as i want to go the monkey forest

Dogbot is sat in the garden in a mood as he is not happy with having the bandages on his leg.

Ive S&S the kitchen and bathroom this morning and will hoover all through the house in a bit to get rid of the dog hair before starting dinner.

Well the plan for today is to have a quick tidy up, cook food and cwtch up to youngest and watch films
My furniture covers came out really lovely yesterday and have such a spring fresh smell to them So pleased

Just had an email sent by American Flylady - it's cheesy but I like it
Bed made at break of day
Night time peace is on the way!
Sink shined at night
Early morning starts off right!

Nice and simple and sent by a flybaby but it's the simplest things that do it for me

Treating today as a normal day, especially as we are not of a religious nature. Gammon for dinner later, it is still defrosting/soaking.

DS1's room next and then a few jobs in the garden.

I love reading this thread - I sometimes do a bit of flying and decluttering too, but mostly reading However, although I can work out most of the abbreviations and references, there are a couple that have really got me stuck.....please put me out of my misery!

1. What are spoons?

2. I understand that KH refers to an ex-husband, but what exactly does the K stand for....I really can't figure that one out.

Lacking in motivation today, fancy running (ha) off to find a secluded beach somewhere, however this is the north east of blighty and not barbados and whilst I'm bored I don't wish to freeze to death.

Back from car booting, a tad hot, and sun burnt, I did have a hat and sun block on, unpacked car.

Been to the tip with one of the dead trees I dug out, I cannot lift the other one, OH is at work, so he can help me tomorrow!

Afternoon all

I've got some washing done and put away already. DH and DD2 were out this morning so I took the opportunity to watch Harry Potter which she lent me a week ago and was then able to return it. It was cool and cloudy here to start with but the sun is out now.

We're going over to her place for tea later so no cooking for me today
