I'm awake as hubby couldn't find his belt eventho he could tell me which jeans they where on. Of course they where at his side of the bed on the floor where all his things are. So i'm now wide awake.
Anyway sc on with dinner and i'll go stick another load in the wm. Might even have a bath in an hour or so while everyone else is sleeping.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Morning all
I am off to hospital today with my 11 year old DS. He has a 2 week course of IV antibiotics. I am not looking forward to attempting sleep on a fold up bed in a hot, paediatric ward, being heavily pregnant!
I was up at 6.30am, but have done precisely nothing so far. I need to finish packing and to bath and hair wash the boy! He won't be able to bath or shower for 2 weeks as he will have a central line needle in his chest. He is in no way bothered about this! Baths are for wimps and girls!
So, I have all this flying energy, and I won't be at home to do anything. I will have to keep our bedside tidy. I am really hoping that we get to do the second week at home. I have done home IVs before, and it is so nice being able to sleep in our own beds and eat our own food. Fingers crossed they might let us out on Thursday or Friday.
I should have internet access at hospital, so will keep in touch.
Happy Easter everyone

Happy birthday Shortbird
Fingers crossed for your nephew cheap date
Serena, I usually end up soaking grease spots in a soda crystal solution. Which reminds me that I need to do my jeans which have chicken fat on them.
The wisteria is the best I have seen it. I like to see people stop and smile as they walk past. Just grateful that the large section that was knocked down by a summer storm hasn't damaged the whole thing, and we have put new supports in so it doesnt happen again. Morning all. Woken 2 hrs ago by hungry divers. All now fed. Picnic prepared. They are now playing with all their gibble trying to fit it into cars.
Feeling quite smug as dinner last night went down well - no leftover casserole. Lots of leftover pasta turned into 2 pasta salads for their lunch today. Also, don't have to worry about dinner as I prepped it yesterday. When they arrive back (hopefully earlier than yesterday) I just need to do rice.
So - serious paid work to declutter today. Am I on holiday? Doesn't really feel like it. But the sun is out today so will go for a long walk with hound who is feeling a lot better today.

Hope you all have a good day0 -
Happy Easter to everyone who wants.
Beautiful wisteria Hex2. Think I need you to pop round to see me for a week or two - my garden is currently like a desert - it wasn't the best filled garden to start with, but rather a lot of large shrubs are having to be removed as this winter seems to have taken its toll and killed many of my shrubs - including several given to me as cuttings by my Father many years ago. Currently looking to see if there is any life left in a conifer from him - may have to visit the gardening thread later. So, all in all I have a garden full of nettles and docks - very complementary, but not aesthetically pleasing! Yesterday was spent on lots of HHGs rather than HHCs - at least there is now some clear space to do some planting - and I have masses of home made compost to help feed some new plants. Just need to decide "what" now - and find the rest of the clear space under the remaining weeds now.
Think I'm going to pop a milk loaf in the BM - I haven't done enough baking this week, so my baking milk is on its way out. Again!
Good wishes to you and your son Cheap Date.
Mrs Chaos - am I wrong or is 18 the minimum age for tattoos? Not that that helps you now!
Oh, and LW, I am really not sure that hiding worrying comments about you collapsing in the middle of your post is playing fair with folks like me who are skimming through. I do hope you are feeling a little better now. Mind you, you did mention earlier in the week you had used up all your spoons, so I'm just wondering what you were using. Take care of yourself. Oh, and Mr Dog says he's not sure whether or not LW eats cheese, so he's helping you out at the moment in case you don't.Work is not my Hobby0 -
giong to go and get showered and dressed then hand a load of washing out on the line, hoping that it dries before we bbq later. OH's parents are coming over so will chat to OH before hanging the washing out as he is pretty accurate at predicting when it will rain or not
may just hang them in the spare room so that its out the way. also want to clean the outside downstairs windows and give the kitchen a quick once over before the inlaws get here as his mum will dust/clean/ hoover etc even though it will have already been done.
list still the same as before.0 -
