My kids are very hyper today
So we're taking them to the local museum, first we'll have a picnic and a kick around and hopefully they've burnt out they're energy for the museum.
My daughters excited about the museum so hopefully some bribery on good behaviour will work :p

I was once in a que for starbucks and it was so long that we were outside the doors. Anyway, there were loads of mums and buggies and children in there, and the lady infront of me had a tantrum about the que and said out loud 'god it's like the que to the DSS' and then left!
    How RUDE I though!

I'm a mother of 2 children and mine are out of buggies now thankfully as it's b!oody hard work weaving in and out of peoples way, but I wouldn't moan about the hard working mothers wanting to catch up with their friends/other mummys over a coffee. HOWEVER I would moan if they allowed their children to run riot around the place.

Tiddlywink, if that was my 7yr old running around I would be utterly ashamed and will be apologising to you for my childs behaviour.
My daughter is 7yrs old and they don't run around in sit down places like cafes/resturants etc.
They do sometimes TRY and run around in supermarkets etc, but I just threaten to put back the icecream lol

hahaha, yes, I'll stand at the entrance and tell the kids to run as fast and noisily around the store and I'll meet them back here in 5 minutes ;)

They should place the plasticware adjacent to the cafe... then if you spot an unruly child you can simply pick up a big plastic dustbin and place it over the child.... tell them they're playing daleks and everybody's happy.

I have 2 children a 7yr old and a 4 yr old and mine TRY to run around when we're out and 9/10 times I can reign them in :D Depends on what mind set we're all in.

Saying that, I would NOT allow them to run around in peoples way and esspecially in a sit down area like a cafe where, like you said, hot drinks and foods etc can spill onto the child and I can imagine the up roar of the PARENT if they're unruley child bumped into someone and got scolded.
It would be the PARENTS fault.

I know someone who has kids and they do this all the time while the parents do fu<k all to stop them and allow their kids to run around the shops out of their eyesight! Which REALLY pi$$es me off! Give them reigns/straps if you can't control your children until they learn that they have to be good.

PLUS, I ALWAYS put my trolley in the parking bays/cupboards, I get my £1 back, so I can't see why others can't do it.

Morrisons are doing a Tea Time deal where after school, children eat for free, so probably best to avoid these times next time.

    perhaps they dont have them?
I know my local Asda removed them(i have no idea why) and the morrisons ones were mainly broken when i was lat in

    An easy mistake to make.

I've found that a lot of children these days aren't just hyper, but they are extremely rude as well. Today in Morrisons we were waiting in the queue at the till and a couple of kids pushed our trolley out the way to get to the sweet shelves. They were at least 6 or 7-years old, and completely ignorant of the fact that we were waiting there. I've also had my car kicked by a little kid on the street before as I drove past, (I must add I wasn't putting the kid in any immediate danger). The reason he did this wasn't clear, but he had right face on. It's as if kids are getting ruder these days.

Parents were leaving their kids sat in the locked trolleys and then going for a quiet coffee.
