It won't be perfect all the time, you will have good days and bad but just keep plodding through the bad days as a good day is coming next.

I checked Royal Mail postage and weighed it and everything and yet when I got to the post office it came to more than the website had said. After paying the extra and paying paypal fees I ended up with about 28p
I have never been near ebay since. I think I just don't get it.

I agree with Custardy
Always allow more than the cost of postage. Your time costs money and you have to travel to post items, plus you have to package them. I normally add £1-£1.20 to cover this and I have excellent feedback etc.
Search on completed listings what a similar item to your own did actually sell at and decide your starting price from there. Also all selling is seasonal. There is no point selling t-shirts now as people are looking for warmer clothing, bedding, heavy curtains etc. I know you know that ... just stating the obvious
:):):)
Bookmark Royal Mail online and you will soon get used to weighing your items and costing them. If there is something that concerns you take the parcel to your local post office and they will weigh it for you before you list. I did this last week with 2 larger items heading to Scandinavia. Remember you are not perfect and you will make the odd boo boo
:) now and again. You can make money from it. I really enjoy it . It keeps my mind working and I do deal with lovely people from all over the world.
Also make sure you have your item in the correct category ... the completed listings will help you with that.
If you ever have a concern about anything ask me and I will do my best to help you.
Can I also give you a piece of advice. DO NOT beat yourself up because you can't get everything done to plan. Life isn't like that and if you get 1/2 of what you need to get done its better than nothing.

Lets just hope I am lucky enough! Also have only been able to list 7 items on ebay, what a joke! Oh well dont point worrying about it!
Please do not sabotage yourself,as you are doing very well with your positve inner talk to yourself. Count every single thing that you do as a positive achievement. You joined Gum tree and listed items for sale, that different from the day before. Seven items on ebay is better than 6 or none. Element of time management is to break down huge tasks into much smaller ones.
Ebay Queen put it very well at the end of her post this morning.

Wow some really good tips there, thank you. I thought I knew things but you really have given me a whole new insight to it. I never add anything. I do myself out of the packaging just to try to get my feedback up well I have 100% but its the below standard thing.

Well DD has not been her happy self this morning. I get so stressed, is it cause there is so much I need/want to do to get the pennies rolling in and I just need her to behave? I feel so bad!
I have managed to do washing up, wipe sides down, put washing out, prepare lunch ready, get chicken out for dinner which I hope I will get to freeze some that is left over.
Going out for a cuppa later with mums so DD will get to play with her friends. i have started writing a list of bits to do over the weekend.
Suppose I should go and get dressed, how awful is that, I am still in my pjamas!
Lets see what PAD I can find today!!
Have a good day! xx:j DMP started on 1st Oct 11 - 6 yrs 0 mths till DFD :jMay 2018 Debt free date - Mission to clear before!Depression is a challenge, Debt is a challenge and I have been given these challenges to be a stronger person. Focus and determination is the key with hard work!0
