Thank you, not sure what is wrong with me, I am sure the 'down' time will come soon! Basic food is the best, I find it cooks better, it tastes better and the value for money is good too. at least you go for a walk to walk the packet off! I havent even done that!

I bet its not, its your story, your feelings, your journey! its everything about you!!

    Bad cleaning!

Batch cook - I have started to freeze left overs but I am not very good at batch cooking as i really do not know what to do where to start and what to do when its defrosted!

Dont appologise for rambling, I am so grateful for you and all my mse friends, I am truely grateful! xxx

    Morning Lost

    How are you today?

I think you are making great progress. You are def sounding more organised and less stressed. Ebay will sort itself out. Small steps and all that :)

Haven't been feeling great myself Lost. Major big thing going on in extended family and it is very very stressful. I know it will sort itself out but boy does it take its toll on you.

    Hope wee girl well.

    God bless

    Afternoon Lost x

Hope you have managed to get your jobs done! I just have to vac and take pooch out then its the start of my working week :(

Re Batch cooking = Baby steps :D
I have found the easiest thing to batch cook is mince :D You will need lots containers (marg tubs and ice cream tubs are good) and some oven to tableware :p

Batch cook no1 - Savoury Mince, mince, onions, any left over veg throw it all in, some people also add lentils, stock cubes and seasoning :) This can be eaten with yorks puds (i buy sainsbugs basics) or jacket spuds or you can make it into a cottage pie :D I can eek mine out to 4 meals for 3 people x

Batch cook no2 - Spag Bog sauce, mince onions, basics tinned toms, grated carrot, you can also add lentils and peas! I use this as a normal spag bog with pasta or i add chilli powder to be eaten with jackets or rice OR you can make it into enchiladas buy wrapping it in tortillas place in dish cover cheese and bake in oven :D (you can also add stock cubes or worcestershire sauce and dont forget dried herbs if you want of course)

I will add that i put loads of onion and grated carrot in mine it makes the meat go a lot further and its healthier :T I have tried it with lentils but wasn't keen although i think i put way too many lentils in :rotfl:
You will have to work out your quantities per person and portion up accordingly lid on or foil and cling film and put extras in freezer :D

I also make a mean soup (according to best friend) it is simply chicken or veg stock, spuds, onion and any veg i find lurking in the fridge, boil it up then blend or if lke me you don't have a blender, mash it with the potato masher :D for the rustic approach :rotfl:

To defrost just take it out of the freezer in the morning and it will be defrosted by t-time and to reheat i just microwave everything :D

Cheese and potato pie - mash, cheese (dont know quantities i guess ) and a beaten egg. Mix cheese into mash until melted-ish mix in the egg put in dish with cheese sprinkled on top, bake in oven for about 20 mins gas 5 or 180/200 and serve with baked beans....nom nom. You can also add basics smaked bacon, just fry it off before adding it with cheese, sausages fry off chop up and add with cheese or put some onions in :D As for the baked beans i sometimes add half a teaspoon of english mustard when i've given the kids theirs it helps make it a little bit different and what i do is make enough for another 1 or 2 and freeze them :D

Hope all this helps, dont be too overwhelmed ....baby steps :p

Have you got your water meter yet x (or was that someone else )

Your post sounded positive this morning, your doing great, putting me to shame anyway :rotfl:

    Love and hugs

I am so angry with myself! I had a total melt down today, I went to town, with some money OH gave me, I picked up a couple of prezzies from the poundshop, stocking fillers and some chocolates. Who said it needs to be expensive. I took something back to a shop without a receipt and got £8.99 on a giftcard! will put that towards christmas.

but I had a total melt down and ended up spending 4 hours walking round, DD slept for about hour and half and I didnt do hardly anything i needed to do cause I totally forgot! And then I was slapped with a £3 for parking when if I had done it all in the time I was supposed to it would have been a £1. I was going to try to save as much from the money as I could to go towards the PAD but instead I wasted it.

I am so unhappy with myself! xx
