I tried ebay once. It was a complete disaster. I listed something starting at 99p. The bid was 99p and it was sold at that - fair enough. I checked Royal Mail postage and weighed it and everything and yet when I got to the post office it came to more than the website had said. After paying the extra and paying paypal fees I ended up with about 28p :( I have never been near ebay since. I think I just don't get it.

    xx

What do you do to sell things? I have so much I want to and need to get rid of but looks like I am going to fail on Ebay now! I have done well in the past but with all these restrictions and below standard just looks like I wont get there!

Sorry to hear that you werent successful on ebay! Hope your ok! xx

I hope you don't mind me posting, didn't want to read and run but......WOW!!!

Lost you have come on leaps and bounds since your first post :D It has made me smile and cry :o

Yes i have spent a whole day reading your diary, should have been ironing but hey ho! :rotfl:. I know you are still having your 'off' days, dont we all ;), but you ARE motivated and you ARE a strong person :D

Your diary has given me a virtual kick up the @£$3 :p

I am also on a DMP, but haven't seperated it from XOH yet i am now going to crack on and sort it out and i will be debt free a lot sooner :T

One thing i have noticed with a DMP is the allowances for food and clothes....to me they are over and above what i actually spend thanks to :money:so if you can reduce your food bills (it may take time) you ca have spare' money to treat yourself and DD :D or to throw at the other CCs!!!! (not very good at explaining myself , hope you understand that) x

    Hope i haven't waffled :o

    Have a fab day
    Twiz x

Thank you so much for your kind post and taking the time from your ironing to post! It means alot! Thank you so much, I just feel like I cant cope some days, like today I am having a motivation struggle! So much to do yet dont know where to start!

Thank you for the tip for the DMP. I am looking forward to it starting so I know where I am with things. At the moment I am still all over the place with it.

So your DMP is still with you XOH? Sort it out you are able to! You got the DMP sorted, you can sort other things!

You havent waffled, its nice to see you here! And thank you for posting! xxx

Well I need to count up for my PAD as I have lots of change floating around, And then allocate it to the 3 envelopes. Not very happy with ebay as they have put a restriction on my account so I am only able to list about 10 items at a time because my seller performance is below standard all because people have marked me down on postage costs, I actually go by what royal mail say and weigh everything, I am so disheartened with Ebay. What do people want... check the postage before you bid dont down mark someone because the postage is high, speak to royal mail! Tell them to stop making the prices ridiculous!

That is what happened to me too. I was often undercharging on postage but I really think many people want something for nothing these days. I have stopped using ebay to sell now but still buy as there are many bargains.
    Good luck with your sales.x

  • A little update on my unmotivated morning - Not achieved very much, except for joining Gum tree and listing a couple of bits on there for sale! Lets just hope I am lucky enough! Also have only been able to list 7 items on ebay, what a joke! Oh well dont point worrying about it!

I really want to get motivated, meant to be going to see the mums today, Ive said yes but I am feeling anxious about going out knowing I have so much to do. Not funny at all. Why do I get myself in this state. All I want to do is eat yet I want to loose weight, All I want to do is clear the clutter and make some money yet, theres always some problem in the way. xx

I hope you went to meet the mums and I hope you had a great time! :D

It won't be perfect all the time, you will have good days and bad but just keep plodding through the bad days as a good day is coming next.
