i agree. it is hard. very hard. i actually got to the point where the light at the end of the tunnel, was in fact the oncoming train!!!!

but as you are making those baby steps, everything, suddenly will look brighter and more positive.

do you have a spare room?? rent it out, short term. can you cook or make cakes?? are you handy with a needle?? all these things can up your income. cooking everything from scratch also saves a small fortune

good luck and keep us up to date.

    Hi Lost,

Boo to the wages being wrong again. Is the higher amount due to them paying you wrong last month as well?

We do have clutter in the form of childrens toys! They are in my living room, their bedroom, the spare bedroom! Then the bathroom is full of bath toys and dining room full of crafty stuff .
Im going to have to have a good sort and ebay some of the old stuff but I just never get time. Plus is they are around it will be a battle of wills as to which toys go! So I need half a day or so to go through them. I might just start ebaying a few at a time... baby steps and all that!

Re the dishwasher, I used to spend a good 20-30 mins washing up etc after tea. Now its literally 5-10 mins to stack the dishwasher (I stack as I go!) and wipe over.

You have made changes already, it is a long process but it takes time and you will get there. Keep up the good work and hopefully those Avon orders will come rolling in :T xxx

Oh hope you hear about your wage soon too xxx

Yes, we will help each other through this Lost. ;)

The slimline dishwasher is not too bad. Gap-parents have a normal sized one and it is much bigger than mine but they only use it when it is full and it takes them 2-3 days to fill it. Mine is on most days :o

Sorry to hear your wage has been mucked up again  How annoying.

I had to laugh at sandraroffey with her light being the train! :rotfl:I have been at that point many times myself!

Keep thinking positive about the Avon. A really good diary to read for motivation is that of POSITIVE AND FOCUSED called "Today is a new day!" What an amazing lady she is. :)

Yes it should be higher because of last months error but I am still missing money, I am furious! I have emailed them but still not heard from them. Heard someone in a shop today saying how their wages had been messed up, must be the month for it!

Good luck with the ebaying of the toys, little at time wont be too much and they wont be missed!!

Now I do like the sounds of that, I want a dishwasher!!

    Thank you xx

  • Today has been a pretty awful day and OH - well :mad::mad: Because I let it slip that I was obviously paid a bit extra this month yet still underpaid he has said he doesnt need to give me any money this month now cause I have extra money. I wish I hadnt said anything cause straight away I have no extra money at all to go towards the debts.

And he has been really rude tonight. I am fed up of feeling so down and so nervous all the time. Everything just seems on top of me again and there seems to be no leeway! Just more stress, I cant get anything finished, and no support and if he does anything he doesnt let me forget about it.

Anyway i dont know. I dont know anymore, I just want to be a better stronger person who achieves!

I need to really sort myself out but I just dont seem to have the time.

  • Actually had a great nights sleep and feel refreshed! Amazing what a comfy sleep can do for one! So whats today going to bring - POSITIVITY! He aint bringing me down! Last night he upset me and made me angry today its a new day! Need to find my confidence, I do lack confidence!

So today, what shall I do today?? Collect my Avon catalogues, go to go to a pound shop to get a few bits for the bathroom, I do love a pound shop! Wrap up some more bits for Ebay to send. And do the ones I was meant to do yesterday! :o And do a job round the house!

My putting confidential papers in water to take the ink off didnt work and I have been left with one big mush and a lot of wet paper! At the moment its in black bags but I just dont know what to do with it! may have to sit there and cut each individual bit up for recycling, it will take ages for it to dry, oh I just dont know what to do. :(

Well onwards and upwards - time to get cracking! Have a lovely day! xx

Isn't it amazing what a good night's sleep can do for you :)

I know it is between you and OH and I don't want to interfere but if you were not together and you had DD on your own he would have to pay you maintenance every week/month regardless of how much you earn. I'm not going to go on about it because it really is none of my business but I do feel very strongly about that  Sorry :o

Pound shops are great aren't they? I try to limit myself when I go in them and I don't go in them unless I need something :D

I don't really know what you can do about the papers. Could you invest in a small shredder (don't think they are too expensive) and all your future papers could go in that? I broke my shredder (tried to put too much in it :() but we have one at work and my boss doesn't mind me using it for personal stuff, especially when he misread my text and thought I had broken my shoulder!! :rotfl:

Have a good day Lost. Positive thinking all the way ;)

Your not interefering, I think I need all the advice I can get at the moment! It is so annoying! And you are so right! But what can I do?

I do to cause its so easy to go in there and buy!! I actually do need to go and get a few essentials! And have a cheeky little look for bargains! I really shouldnt but I dont buy clothes and I dont buy makeup and well I dont buy anything for myself only for OH and DD.

I had a shredder before but well it was useless I would do 5 mins and it would be dead for an hour! :rotfl: to your boss!! Thats good you get to take it in!! Ill think of something!

Hope your having a good day Gap! Trying to be positive! xx
