Burger King microwave the burgers now?!
Comments

they all do it even the pubs. they come in frozen, thawed, microwaved and then sealed on the grill to 'make it look authentic'. however the BK's in stations dont seal... just microwave and off u go. NASTY soggy burger!0

All the burgers (except chicken ones) are microwaved before serving for between 4 - 8 seconds. Its just a quick blast to keep the meat hot before all those cold condiments are put inside.0

worse than that - I encountered a KFC worker spitting on his fingers to assist gripping the burger buns
I would have left without the burger - but I had a money off voucher vaild only at that branch
So I decided to eat the burger minus the bunHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

But a few months ago when I ordered a burger from there, I watched with disgust as the 'chef' (term used very loosely), with no gloves on, picked up seperate components of the burger and microwaved them, then put it in a bag with a few chips and presented it to me. Being British and therefore willing to put up with anything (why can't we be more like the Americans?), I accepted it and took it home. My question is, when the hell did they start microwaving the burgers? And what was with the moron who didn't even use gloves? I haven't been back since and don't plan to. The reason I'm banging on about it now is that I saw a Burger King advert recently which, if believed, would make you think that trained chefs carefully flame-grill the beef instead of the harsh reality of some spotty yoof chucking it into the microwave for a few seconds.
Now, I would say avoid Burger King, but I don't know if the practice of microwaving is carried out at all of their stores, so I'm unwilling to give a blanket Avoid. If your local store flame-grills the patties then go ahead and eat there, but if you see them reach for the microwave then just walk out and go somewhere else as the food tastes like crap when they do that!
Most burgers taste like crap anyway. Eat some healthy real food!0 -
Dont understand the problem here, if you know the burgers get zapped then dont eat there again, simples but its entirely your choice to eat there0

Why are you being so rude. You have an issue with Burger King, and thats fine. To call all its employees (of whom I am not one) "spotty idiots" is plain rude.
How would you like it if someone called you a spotty idiot purely because of where you work?
You wouldn't.0 -

Didn't anybody notice that their restaurants don't have air vents on the roof? You need that if you're actually cooking the food or the entire place would be full of smoke. They microwave everything.0

Total rubbish. Walk into any BK and you can see from the tills the large metal extraction canopies which cover the fryers, and there are more in the kitchen.
And how would you know they don't have air vents on the roof? You generally can't see them from the ground.0
