Hope you have a fab time, hoping the weather stays dry for you
I have passed by Edinburgh on my way further north but it is a city I would love to visit one day. We went up to the far north of Scotland last year to Aviemore for the husky racing but from Northampton it is much cheaper and quicker to fly from Luton than drive upIf we ever decide to come up, you will have to tell me where the best places to visit are
Just keep swimming!0 -
My house :j:j Actually, no, probably not the best place to visit in Edinburgh! I sometimes just like getting on a tour bus and going round the city.
Had a busy weekend. The races on Friday were good. I didn't win anything but then I didn't bet anything eitherI absolutely hate losing money and I am quite an unlucky person in some respects so I am too mean to hand out money unless I am guaranteed something back. Gap-Sis met some people from her work so we tagged along with them for a bit. They were having a party in a tent with champagne and great music so we [STRIKE]abandoned[/STRIKE] separated from our party for an hour!
Spent Saturday and Sunday running around after everyone else. Was feeling a bit grumpy yesterday because I didn't feel like I had had a proper weekend. Back to work today of course so grumpy levels still a bit low.
£10.50 to PAD on Friday night (but by the time I had checked all my spelling after a couple of drinks during the day I missed midnight so my PAD was really Saturday) as I didn't spend all my money at the races! £1 to PAD today. Nearly at my new target:T Will probably be back to PAD later as well.
Have a good week folks.

Hi GAP,
Sounds like you had a fab time Friday, well done on not betting :T!! I never win anything either so totally get the whole not getting anything in return!!
Yay to the £10.50 PAD thats fantastic. Sorry im only just catching up now had a mental week last week x xMummytogirls x0 -
Mummy I don't have any investments either because there is always the clause that you might not get all your money back. Not that I have any money to put in investments at the moment but when (!) I do I only want to put my money where there is a guaranteed return. I am a typical mean Scot!!
Actually, we are not mean, we are quite lovely really, we just have a bad reputation
I notice earlier I said my grumpy levels are still low. I meant I think of myself on levels. Standard level is middle. Not up nor down, just plodding along. High is when I am really happy or excited. Low is when I am angry, grumpy, down, sad, etc. Just in case there was some confusionMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

£150 to go to the cc
£208 to go to the holiday club so Little Miss can get looked after during the hols  (Gap-Parents are helping out both with childcare and costs towards the holiday club - thanks Gap-Parents)
£71.60 so far overpayment to loan this month :T (will send cheque tomorrow - going to add a little to that from my salary)
Other than that, things are really quite boring here
Looking forward to a quiet weekend
