Hi mrsb. I'm a bit worried about continuing with my diary as technically I'm not a DFW anymore and I don't want to upset anyone.
I have to say though, Christmas is looking good so far this year. I was just saying on the PAD thread that I only have a small balance on my cc which means that I have done Christmas this year almost all without the cc! I have no idea how I have managed that. It seems that I scrimped and saved every penny towards the debt and now it is gone I have more of an idea how much I was having to put away for it. I saved £100 in Mr M stamps and I saved a little over £100 with the sealed pot challenge and the rest has been done in bits and pieces from my salary.
Work Christmas night out tonight which consists of a meal that is paid for by the bossman (inc wine!) I usually go for a couple of drinks with a couple of colleagues after the meal but this year I have told them I have to get home for babysitters (not strictly true, more of an excuse to not spend any of my own money apart from bus fare so a free evening out). I just don't want to spend any unnecessary money. I am really mean with it now :rotfl:Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

I don't see that anyone would have a problem with a DFD talking about being newly debt free. We want to know how it's going!
Have a great time tonight and make the most of the freebies! I've had a few very cheap nights out on other people's coin recently and it always seems more fun!Total Debt Sept 2010 - £24,132.38 / Current - £0.00/ 100% paid
