there is as vw do it and you can view cars from other dealerships,

is taxi the only way to get to the dealership ?

was the chat with the GM a result of your letter

Yes Taxi is the only way(Quickist), as for a bus i would have to use two of those plus 20 mins walk in total of 2 hours of journey. The Taxi was 25 mins, the GM was already involved in the communication. He was the guy shifting in all conversations, Yes we are in breach, No we are not in breach. I really feel tired, Simon him self did not reply to my question when i informed him i was out of pocket as the 2 years warranty will not be applicable to me if i buy a Mercedes now.

buy the car you want, then sue for the difference in cost (if there is one) and the cost of servicing etc. I can't see how this is a case of mistake or frustration, that is tosh. Get the claim form in and you might find you get a different response.

But - only do this if you can prove everything you have said.

Yes but DaimlerChrysler didn't sell the car.....

OP - as fthl says, you have to get on and take some action.

For info, Mercedes-Benz is a division of its parent company Daimler AG so email address is correct.

OP...For info, the try escalating and complaining as well to the Inchcape chairman. You will find his email contact details at http://www.wix.com/sirmarcushill/sirmarcus-email-addresses.

    Hope this helps.

I have documented everything, its on FAX, Email and personal notes of the meeting. I had taken two friends for the meeting and they are witness to the whole matter.

I weird or MB are reacting to this matter, the parent company is distancing it self to resolve the matter. The GM is a total used cars sales man, lies, lies and more lies.

According to trading standards i have written to the company secretary, i just feel MB does'nt care as ths happens all the time??

Correct, but looking at the holistic view, the dealer i went to is Mercedes Kidlington, if you call them they represent them as themself being Mercedes Kidlington. Any reasonable person will think that they are part of the Mercedes parent company.

Did you know Mercedes is divided in 100's of different companies, even their Customer Service Division is another Company???

I was not aware of this until i got stung, I 100% feel that Mercedes will be sold to India or China soon because this level of CS will not allow the brand to survive.

Wouldn't what the complaints procedure tells you to contact be the correct thing to contact, rather than CEO's of parent companies?

Worst case is that you will get a polite 'no deal' but is still worth a go.

Yeah thats what he got, don't you think with your extreme parent company CEO email you're leading the op up the garden path now?
