Mercedes sold my car to someone else

Not saying that this happened in your case - just don't be a mug - car salesman have to sell and make as much profit as poss - they've got kiddies to feed to. Just food for thought.
True they do, but once the contract has been made and the deposit paid there is no going back a deal is a deal and that is how the courts will see it.0 -
...they crawled out of the woodwork...sorry that was EJ tomorrow!0

I do agree that the fault is not with MB, it is the selling dealership you are after and if you took MB to court that could lose you the case as the judge will see that you have not done your homework.
If you do issue proceedings tread carefully and ensure the N1 is issued to the correct party.0 -
In a way it does, the fraction of the car is yours.
Read on "Consideration"
Really? I'd prefer to read up on the sale of goods act, sections 17 and 18. I would read up on consideration, but don't think that it is relevant. Unless your reading shows you that you need consideration to have a contract, and that as there is no consideration between MB and the OP, then there cannot be a contract and therefore any action will fail.
I also think you are being quite courageous to ignore all the posters giving you sound advice, just because you don't agree. Just sue whoever you want and then let us know how it goes. It is clear that you know so much about the legalities of your claim that you really didn't need to seek advice. Go forth and litigate. Have fun.0 -
