    Oooh that's an idea frogprince...

I just wanna get what the bridesmaids are wearing, sorted as I've found my dress, the OH knows what he's wearing (and the rest of the men)...

Oh well, it'll all come together!

spoonymoose- I'm loving the colour and style of the Debenhams one! Very elegant!

Still no p******* to brag of or writing of any r******!

Been shopping with my new slimline mother today- not tooooooo painful thankfully. Half a trolley of red wine bought in Asda, labels removed ready for ours to go on.

List is getting shorter- and then I'll have to start writing a new one I guess!

Hi, i'd like to join 2 now I've started my easter hols! I'm getting married on August 26th this year, im sooo excited! We are having our honeymoon before the wedding in LA and Las vegas (We were going to get married in vegas but the inner princess in me was unleashed and i'm now planning my fairytale wedding in Northumberland) I'm going to do school work this week and then have a week of wedding planning next. Plans are coming a long quite well although I feel like I still ave loads to do and time is flying!
  • Hi all,

Just seen this thread.... Wow there are quite a few of us getting married. I'm a Secondary School teacher (design and technology) in my 6th year now, and getting married 29th May (just under 6 weeks to go).

There have been lots of interest from the students about the wedding, requesting to come etc but not inviting any!! My year 9 form are however helping me to assemble my favours closer too and keep reminding me how long it is until the big day!!

  • Signing in, my fiancee and I are both secondary school teachers, she is an MFL teacher and I teach the Humanities, and we are getting married on the 29th December.

Absolutely loads of interest from pupils as we work in the same school but no way we'd have any of them involved. I know of colleagues who have booked the school choir to perform at their wedding but that's not for us!

My OH has been getting stuck in to wedding planning in the easter hols, have sorted a lot in the last couple of days:
Suits, gifts (bridal / groom parties), confetti, order of service design, thank you card design, writing lists (mainly of what lists we need to write ;)), sweets for the reception, decorations - nice to make some progress!

I went to look at designs for wedding cakes and flowers today...

I found a cake I loved (it's the top table, with the appropriate people on it - this is the link http://www.facebook.com/media/set/fbx/?set=a.114859155229421.10771.111448058903864#!/photo.php?fbid=114859511896052&set=a.114859155229421.10771.111448058903864&type=1&theater)

As for flowers... Hmmm... Artificial bouquet so I can keep it forever or real?

Oh and planning and pupil progress will be started tomorrow once I'm back home :(
