Ahh, it was ok, one of my class wanted to know if I'd got married yet! Lol!

The children seemed a bit mad tbh... Don't think they're gonna settle until at least the third week, ahh well. We did lots of stuff for the Royal Wedding this afternoon (they designed dresses and wedding cakes... Two boys sat at a table for around an hour and a half colouring and sticking bits onto a wedding cake... Bless!)

How was your first week back?

I think everyone must be busy with planning, reports, progress reports... :(

I'm a supply teacher, and the beauty of that, is that I could take time off during term-time. We got married on the last day of term (3 weeks ago today - 8th April) in Jamaica, and we went out there on the 5th for 2 weeks. Back to the real world now, and wishing we were still there. Getting married abroad was much less stressful, and I'd do it that way all over again. Think I'd forget about the reception at home though, cos things went wrong, and it spoilt things a bit for me.

ETA: We stayed at a Sandals resort to avoid children!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Debt-free and Proud!
1 week today for me  Starting to worry about getting everything done in time now but its only little bits and pieces left so I am sure it will all be fine!

Hope everyone is well and had a good first "week" back (I could get used of these 3 day weeks and 4 day weekends!).

Very busy adjusting to life back at school, tho a 3 day week to start us off was great! It's just a countdown until the next holiday so I can plan some more!

Congrats sexymouse! Sounds like you had a fantastic time in Jamaica! Sorry to hear about the reception, still, look at your gorgeous wedding photos and that scenery and hopefully that will cheer you up!

Awwww walby1993! I bet you're so excited now! And don't worry, everything will be done :)

I also agree with you about getting used to 4 day weekends... I think we should all up our titles to Princess and have an extra few days off! ;)
