Hi all! Just been reading through this thread so thought i'd say hi and join!

Congratulations to all those who have got married and to all those planning to do so next year! We're just about to start planning our wedding, which we're hoping to have in Spring/early Summer 2013. I'm a Primary School teacher (in Y3) so need to check term dates before looking at exact dates!
So any advice on where to start planning would be very much appreciated!!!

Term dates should be out if you look on your LEA's website. Mine is telling me the term dates for 2011/2012 and 2012/2013.

Thank you! Had a look yesterday and we break up the day before Good Friday for 2 weeks so we're going to try for the middle Saturday, that way I'll have a week off before and a week off after!
Seems so far away but am getting very excited planning already!

Thinking of going for a Cadbury purple theme as I've always loved the colour (and we're both chocoholics)! Anyone else had that colour theme at their wedding? What was it like and what worked well? Thanks!

Mine seemed like so far away and now it's only 5 months away! Time will fly! It's even more exciting that you've almost sorted out a date!

We're having a colour scheme; navy, ivory and gold as my dress is ivory and my bridesmaids are in navy. OH added gold into the scheme with his waistcoat so I'm now on the hunt for gold shoes for the bridesmaids.

I love your colour scheme, purple is such a lovely colour and its perfect if you're both chocoholics!

Your colour scheme sounds gorgeous! Love the gold idea! Doing lots of internet searching at the mo so will keep my eye out for gold shoes!! 5 months will fly by! How exciting!

Trying to do my termly planning before we go back tomorrow but all this wedding excitement is taking over!! lol! x
