Another vote for Yankee, and i would also reccomend YANKEEDOODLE site, my favs are fresh cut roses, tea and honey, infact i like most of them lol.
I would start with a votive in a small glass holder then progress to tarts and jars.0 -

yankee candles smell gorgeous and burn for ages - for the best prices look on shopping channels as they often have offers on. either idealworld or qvc can't remember if one or both sell them. they are worth the price and I hate paying full price for anything!0

I'm very tempted by Yankee candles but whenever I try similar candles I get complaints from OH -'what's that funny smell', or 'why does it smell like baby wipes in here?'
Anyone else get that?

I used to be a Yankee convert but was always worried about their cost and the paraffin they use. I'm now addicted to Busy Bee Candles. Stronger smelling, soy wax and last even longer. Oh and they are much cheaper. J0

after years of buying scented candles, and wasting whats left after wick has gone,i have found that:
breaking a piece of the scented candle and putting it into an oil burner with a cheap tealight to melt it is much more effective smell wise and waaaaay cheaper!
the one piece of wax can be reheated a number of times, keeping the smell just as strong.
this came to me after seeing "wax tarts" advertised-what a price too.0 -
I think that's a good idea. I have bought the well-known brand of scented wax tarts. To be fair, I do manage to be stingy with them. I break them in half & each half gets a few reburnings before the scent fades, but your idea would work I'm sure & would also be a good use for the leftoever scented wax around the edges of candles....I mean the quite expensive ones that are often given as gifts in glasses or bowls.....the wicks burn down the middle & there can be lots of scented wax just left there doing nothing. Your idea is much simpler than remelting saved wax & remoulding into new candles. I shall have to try it.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
