Depends what scents you like, and whether you want natural/sustainable ingredients (which is my priority).

Personally I think Oxfam's candles are some of the best (they aren't online, just in shops).

Otherwise Jo Malone are popular, as are True Grace.
  • Yankee candles are the best, we have the baby powder one and a Lemon one.. previously had strawberry and a vanilla one...

  • I buy mine from a woman in scotland who makes them herself and sells them through Etsy. I've bought a few from her but my favourite is baby powder:D it is gorgeous. They are very fragrant and you can smell them all over the house even when I only have one burning in the living room:D

Another fan of Yankee Candles here - I have a lovely Christmas Eve scented one burning nearby!

I get mine from http://www.yankeedoodle.co.uk/x-cart/ - they do offers every month and have a good range of candles and accessories - I've even got the car air fresheners too!
    :j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

  • I vote for Yankee too. I use the tarts and the burner and they go forever and the smell is lovely - I have mulled spice on the go as I type and have been burning approx 20 hrs and it still smells bootiful!

    :heartpuls CG :heartpuls
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

I have that one burning at the moment too!

Eventhough Yankee Candles are expensive, they last for absolutely ages. I like the clean cotton one and the sandlewood one is lovely in a bathroom.

What is the longest your Yankee Candle wax tart has lasted, mine go on and on, but never noted how many hours they last. Another vote for clean cotton. I bought a mix of 10 different ones from ebay a couple of years ago and Clean Cotton won-some people comment how clean my house is - it isn't it just smells so!!
