No one can prevent pregnancies 100% (unless of course you don't have sex) but the finger crossing method is by far the worst, you didn't like my reply because it was sensible. And you didn't like it when you had to be educated that the morning after pill can be taken 72 hours afterwards
so that threw your little drama even further down the drain. So to think you have the upper hand you finish off with saying this thread has gone off topic and as such i will not be responding
But it was Okay when it was you taking it off topic.
Sorry to burst your bubble but your reply was not sensibile. It was flawed as has been pointed out. As for the educating about the morning after pill who said i didn't like being educated about it.? I just gave an honest answer about not knowing, if it had bothered me i would have looked the answer up before i replied surely so no drama there love;).
It's not a case of having the upperhand with me, although it clearly is with you, but good luck i hope you now feel fullfilled. Although to me you dig yourself a deeper hole everytime you post, but hey ho feel free to carry on:p.
Oh while i am at it the thread was way off topic after post 3. (a little education for you there). But i knew by carrying this is it will only go further off topic. Maybe you didn't realise?, but you now know.:D0 -

This thread has been interesting the past few pages! You would have to be seriously unlucky to forgot to take your pill, your condom then splits, then you go and get the morning after pill and it doesn't work!
Used correctly the condom is a very safe birth control method, I've never got anybody pregnant using it!! Since joining these boards I've seen several posts from people claiming the pill didn't work for them or the condom split and they didn't realise. I wonder if all these little accidents would still happen if we didn't have such a generous welfare system in place?!! " The condoms split again love - never mind think of the extra tax credits!!" (This is a joke by the way!!) :rotfl:0 -
Started to read this thread before I realised it was 7 pages long! I'm sure someone with similar thoughts to mine will have already posted, but here goes.
I find the 'I've paid into the system and now I want something back from it' attitude quite sad. Many of us have had far more back from the system than we care to admit or remember.
What about the health care that the OP has used, for herself and for when she was pregnant and giving birth to her child, and the child benefit and tax credits that she and her partner have already been paid and will continue to receive, the free 15 hours a week early years childcare that will be received, the free education that will follow in the next few years. This is not nothing. From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0 -

LOL, what a daft idea! SAHM that strike are going to affect....well, themselves. Working mothers will quickly lose their jobs.
Why is it beyond the comprehension of so many that if someone wants to be a stay at home mum they need to make sure they can afford it? Have a child with a decent man, one who works hard and earns a wage. Cut out all superfluous spending, get rid of the car (s), buy or rent a smaller house etc. Problem is, people today want the state (aka tax payer) to pay them to stay at home and that is so wrong. Benefits are supposed to be a safety net, not a lifestyle choice.0 -

Get a grip yourself you daffty.

The cost of living has gone up since those days!
They expect to be able to have two cars, holidays, nights out, take aways, designer clothes for themselves and their kids.
If a whole lot more people were a whole lot less greedy, then this country would not be in such a mess.
We have evolved into a 'throw away' society and throwing away costs!0
