Why they just don't use MSE seems to have passed me by.

I even spotted another UK based site that had just ripped an answer that I had given on a comp posted by Cornish Pasty with & then the poster seemed to flatly deny it when quizzed by others.The language & grammar I had used was quiet individual but still it was denied.

Maybe that's what happens when we have the best comp site in the Uk?:D:rotfl:

bad enough after spending loads of time doing the crossword & trying to sort out the entry for it to be copied on nearly every other comp site :eek: :rotfl:
none of them give credit to mse for the posts, have screen shots of compers news/weekly now putting all the mag/puzzler comps on,
suppose at the end of the day like you say,

We should tell them about MSE.At least then they would get all the comps & not just the edited version.I'll have to let missgem know of all these sites :-)

jeez, missgem & a few others on there loves mse, but, according to thier mods she/they don't copy from here

eta..

according to thier site they encourage peeps to copy/paste comps they find to paste on there, that's why i stopped posting my mag comps on there, it was taking to much time up of double posting from here to there to stop them copying,
but now, don't bother, if they want to copy them so be it :rotfl:

The most blatant missgem copy was of this.I cannot seem to find her post but the wording matched mine to a T.

All her own work of course :-)
Plus just posted after us.

As I say maybe it would be easier for them to join MSE :-)

easy to find the postings on hotdeals, log in, go to thier profile,
find all deals, even if it's expired you can still find them,
not worth worrying about weeowens, i used to worry all the time about the copying & get annoyed, but have learnt now it's not worth it
these are all open forums so the copying will always happen,
it's happened on here from other comp sites & vice versa,
you'll proberly be wasting your time letting missgem know about all the other sites, think they all know on there anyway
you don't have to join mse to enter the comps, or hotdeals, they're all freely displayed for everyone
