    Hi all,

I normally post the monthly comp from Merlin Unwin, but this month it is for a book about hunting :(, and can't quite bring myself to post it. It's here if anyone else wants to post up: http://www.merlinunwin.co.uk/competitions.asp

If you are having problems accessing some of the daily app comps (and others) on Facebook it is because as from today Facebook are forcing all apps to use secure https if the app is using http you will see the following message
    Secure browsing is not supported

This application does not yet support secure browsing (HTTPS)
there is however a workaround so that you can enter the comps, when you are logged in to Facebook click on the downward arrow in the right hand corner then click on "Account Settings" click on "security" on the left hand side select edit in "Secure Browsing" and untick "Browse Facebook on a secure connection (https) when possible"

you should now be able to enter all of the app comps that don't begin with https

as you are disablling a security measure I would suggest that after you have finished entering the comps that you reverse the changes you have made and enable secure browsing again

Hi deboraz and thanks for a great competition :T

Because a purchase from Lipsy will be above the MSE maximum cost for entry, this may end up deleted so I'll PM a BG to move it to Comps Discussion as it's a great comp! :)

Details on their Facebook page here: LIPSY

    Full T&Cs: http://www.lipsy.co.uk/help/termsandconditions

    From here:

There are 100,000 Golden Tickets to be allocated. A Golden Ticket will be allocated with every transaction in store or in online orders until the 100,000 are allocated. Allocation is on a first come first served basis. Each Golden Ticket contains a unique code, which can be revealed by scratching the foiled surface.
    6. Entrants must 'Like' Lipsy's Facebook page in order to see if they are eligible for a prize. Entrants must then enter their unique code and complete all fields on the Official Online Entry Form found at https://www.facebook.com/LipsyLondon. There are no other methods of entry should the customer not have a Facebook account. Agreement to all terms and conditions must be confirmed before entry can be submitted.
    7. Entrants will have the option to send a unique code to up to three of their Facebook friends. Their selected friends will then receive a unique code, which they can use in the same way to see if they have won a prize. This is not compulsory for entry.
    8. Only one entry per person. All prizes can only be redeemed once. Lipsy cannot take responsibility if your ticket is lost, stolen or damaged. It will not be replaced or its value refunded in any of these circumstances.
    9. Everyone who enters the Lipsy Golden Ticket Competition will automatically be entered in a prize draw to win a Fiat 500 car. The draw will take place on 1 December 2011 and the winner will be notified by email by 2 December 2011. Should no response be received within 28 days of correspondence; an alternative Winner will be selected. The winner will be announced on Facebook by 5 December 2011. The car is a Fiat 500 1.2 Pop in black worth over £10,000. The spec is standard and cannot be changed. The car will be ready for collection by 31 December 2011. The Winner will need to collect the car from London. The Winner is responsible for the petrol, registration, insurance and taxes of the car. The car cannot be exchanged for cash.
    10. All entrants will receive a prize. Some prizes are a promotion code for online purchases made from Lipsy.co.uk.
