Just goes to show why MSE introduced the rule for new members :-)

After the overnight maintenance search was not working properly. It was missing all comps posted between approx 0600 and 1149.

It does seem to be working better at the moment, but beware of dupes posted while it was not working.

Best way to check it is working is to search "win" as 95% of posts on this forum contain that word.

ETA (at 14:06), the last comp it found was posted 11:48, so it is missing over two hours of posts, including some that it was finding earlier.

I was googling a comp and came across this site

which seems to be made up of stolen odds and ends from MSE including some of today's new comps.

Why would anyone do that? Who is it aimed at?

loads of other sites copy mse comp postings etc, have come across them many a time

I can understand a U.K. site pinching comps, but what is the good of the post by the lady whose twins didn't get into nursery? And it seems to be a U.S site, so most of the comps wouldn't even be relevant!

don't know, just seems to be most things from here get posted on all sorts of sites near, far & wide :rotfl:
it's just a bit annoying when someones spent money on mags & spent a couple of hours on the answers for them to be posted all over the place, the puzzler thread ones, tab monthly ones etc are all over as well, maybe they send them back from the US to someone here :rotfl:or they just like to read mse'rs postings
