oh my goodness I've just seen all of this. This is so sad. This is such a brilliant place, it has really helped me personally to get some great wins for things I wouldn't have otherwise have been able to afford and I just look forward to entering competitions each day and finding out each month what I've won - sad I know!! Anyway I just wanted to add my HUGE thanks to weeowen, Divadee, Immortal Beloved, and miss linda for all the great competitions - it never feels enough to simply click the thanks button and it's hard to find a moment to say how grateful I am for all of the hard work and time that goes into all of this. I just wanted to say that I wish all the nastiness would stop so we can all get back to helping each other and winning some great prizes and...please don't leave you four!!

I am really sorry to hear that weeowen, Divadee, miss linda and Immortal Beloved are considering leaving but I can understand it after all of the hassle over the past months.
Please consider just taking a breather and return to the board soon. You are all part of the backbone of the comping forum and will be sorely missed.

I really hope that you all reconsider and stay, you've all been amazing here and kind enough to share the comps that you find and Diva has always being a great and fair BG. I can understand the way you must all be feeling though, the atmosphere here has been awful for a while now.

When I think back to the days of Big Snap and the amount of us playing (and winning ), everybody was happy for the person that won each time, there was no nastiness. We're all here to comp, it should be fun and if we win, then that's a big bonus. Oh to be able to turn the clock back.

I'm sure things will get back to normal, the forum rules that Amilucky? quoted earlier are for everybody to follow without exception. If members can't follow them, perhaps this place isn't for them.

I recently started working again, 8 months after getting made redundant last summer, so I haven't been spending as much time on here as I was before.
Which means that I've missed whatever has been going on.
I'm so sorry that so many stalwart MSE'ers are thinking of leaving - please please don't go, we need you all.
(although, having had barbed comments and PMs aimed at me, I know how it can get you down. Even before I went back to work, I'd scaled back on here as it wasn't worth the hassle)
Can't we all just get along?

I have been logged in in order to catch up on entering a few comps that I have missed.To track the comps I'd have to log in so I hope thats it's OK to add a reply to all the previous posts.
Some aspects of the board have disgruntled me but re the "regulars" etc I do not enter via them so I did not have an issue with them.
The main breaking point for me was Dearsmore's posts & the various private messages that I received from him/her.
I was slated for many things,via these, & felt that I should step back & further evalulate my role on this board.

Thank you all for the open forum posts & the private messages.Everyone of them is very much welcome.

I have often found your posts on a comp thread very useful, and not ott. In fact many times you have stopped me disquaifying myself or duping an entry.

I think its horrible when you get pms which are virtually abusive and you do have my sympathies, but if it helped I reckon we could drown you in thank you pms instead very quickly

I wish everyone would just be mates again, like it was when I first started entering competitions last year. I do not understand what is going on.

I just have to say weeowens that I have always found you most helpful, polite and courteous. Also, it has always been obvious (to me anyway) that you go out of your way NOT to offend anyone!

Unfortunately, there will always be someone who misinterprets your good intentions or perhaps sees you as "interfering" when in fact all you want to do is clarify matters and help others.

Please rest assured that you are MUCH appreciated by the vast majority of us and we really appreciate all your efforts.

Above all, after your period of reflection, please return to us ... we need people like you in order that we can "keep the faith".

All this stressing, means people are posting less, entering less and getting upset over a hobby that should bring so much joy!!

I hope people can relax a little and understand that everyone here is valuable.
