New on here and loving the competition section!

Have always entered competitions and have been fairly lucky in the past:

Electronic drum-kit
PS2 (back when they were the main console)
Led Zeppelin tickets at the O2 Arena
Metallica Meet and Greet

and couple of other things.

Long may the luck continue - and a MASSIVE thanks to those who post the competitions. Very much appreciated:j

Hi, quick question for any iPad users please. Just got an iPad, downloaded roboform app for comps but when I open up a web pg like this there is no roboform button ! What have I one wrong ? Thanks in advance

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post, I'm wasn't sure..

I wondered if anyone could give me some advice on a prize I'm able to take.
I won a competition late last year, a few nights in Scotland, Ballater, with a couple of meal vouchers and a whiskey tour - all with Findus and Visit Scotland, £200 spending money and £100 travel expenses.

After some time and messing me around, they finally got their act together and sent me all the things I needed for the trip - which had to be taken by the 22nd April 2011. I had planned to take it next week on the 18th. They also told me that one of the meals I was unable to take because they weren't open during the week, until summer.

My grandad got really poorly and I had been travelling back to Wales, which I made them aware of, recently my Grandad has passed away and now I'm going to be in Wales for the indefinite future. I have told them what's going on and that I can't attend next week, she has asked me to send back the meal voucher and the cheque for the £200 spending money as they will now award the prize to someone else - do I have any right to keep the money, if the prize was meant to be taken by next week, where do they stand on giving it to someone else?
I have already cashed the cheque because it was needed with the travelling last month, now I'm brassic until next month.

Any advice anyone can give me would be very appreciated!

Hi,just recieved an e-mail from free-choice & my offers (one e-mail),saying I'm on a short list for my postal region to win an Ipad2.Yay:j you might say,but when you click on the link to confirm your post code it goes on to a survey type of thing?All the links are the same in the e-mail -
whether you are unsubscribing,
entering to confirm your post code,to contact them or "about us"
It takes you to a site for planet 49.On typing in planet 49 it says

PLANET49.co.uk, to send fraudulent emails. :eek:

There is a large bit about this on planet 49 website but nothing
refering to what I've recieved.
Really dissappointed now:( and a bit sceptical about entering comps
from anyone I've not heard of.Anyonelse had this or could advise on
what to do.Relatively new here (Jan'11) and not very good or quick on the old
puter(I'll not embarrass myself:o by telling you how long it has taken
me to type this)Enjoying it here but a bit wary what to enter now (maybe I'm
abit niave0 Any advice is greatly welcomed:)

I think you'd be ok entering 99.99% of the comps on here.My Offers & Planet 49 do not tend to get posted on here.Where did you enter from?

Set up a specific comping email account,don't clicK on attachments etc,have good AV on your pc.I even use a comping DOB.
