If you read the post again you might understand it a bit more. He clearly says he finished work at 6am, HAD SOME SLEEP, then drove to see his mum (34 mile round trip) by midday on Sunday. Not once did he say it took him 6 hours to get to his mums 17 miles away.

This is the way I read it anyway, point being he made a bit of effort.

Keep it up mate, we're moving up the list.
Like I said, any old guff will do.

Of a term that gets zero searches. What they say about simple things looks true!

Good job I'm not a serial complainer then and have never used a stamp for a letter moaning about something!

Oh and I've got a packet of 6 first class in a draw I previously bought at the old prices. I only send about 2 letters a year so that'll keep my going for 3 years :)

No need for the disappointing attempt at sarcasm - he edited his original post - read my original copy.
Or get your Mammy to do it for you!

    Do try and keep up.

I apologise for not having the ability to read posts which are no longer there.

As I joined the thread late I have obviously missed the first version of his post as it was edited 2 days ago.

Plus, why would you have another sly dig the day after Shipshape edited his post so it is now clearer. Is that not just proving your bitterness as he/she has made an effort?

Oh, and my "Mammy" can't read it to me as she's to busy using the Mothers Day present I bothered to go out and get for her ;)

    Apology accepted.

Your Mammy will be busy for a while then...

Those chip fryers are very difficult to get your head round.

(This is like shelling peas - please try harder)

    :D

Now go back and read the original post and see who it was who had the problem with the Mothers Day present, pondlife.
