  • I can pay for items that don't get delivered, at any time of the day or night.

But Littlewoods' MSE-approved rep only works office hours and picks and chooses the posts to respond to.

I see your all in your armchairs complaining, I saw you even did armchair ordering, Why not stop being lazy and walk to the shops for mothers day then this thread wouldnt have been needed?

Not quite 24/7, sorry to disappoint you, I merely signed on and read the thread. It was so good I've been gripped; had to keep coming back for more.

I have no problem with the original post. It's dreadful service to mess up mothers days deliveries. I would hope Littlewoods have the decency to apologise and offer something like flowers or a voucher as a recognition of the disappointment they've caused.

What is bizarre though is someone posting late on a Sunday evening and expecting a company representative to reply within 20 minutes. They must think there's a crack team of Littlewoods online reps, sitting overnight in their office, desperately trying to reply to online comments within minutes of them being posted.
well....maybe the op is understandbly upset and feels let down by the poor service! and felt the need to vent.... maybe to warn others incase they are tempted in future to make the same mistake as them and order from littlewoods!

The OP was lazy, Ordering anything like this from a catalogue is asking for trouble to be honest. Especially when HDNL is going to be the carrier

People who order from catalogues generally do. If you are too lazy to go to the shops then your too lazy to get out of your arm chair.

Except the Japanese person as they can't obviously go to the shops and hand you the gift.

My daughter has just left really upset because she's waited here all day for the chocolates and flowers ordered for her Mum to arrive and they haven't been delivered.

The website didn't advertise the fact that delivery could happen at anytime before 9pm. (What possible use is that?)

And it certainly didn't mention that, actually, they won't be delivered at all!

    Absolutely disgraceful.

Of course they'll tell us they tried to deliver but no-one was in.
Actually, my daughter waited here all day but that won't matter.

Sorry but things like this shouldn't be left to online ordering. It's a special day for Mam for God's sakes.

I worked till 6am Sun morning but I drove a round trip of 34 miles to drop my flowers and card off to my Ma by midday after just a few hours kip.

I could have ordered online instead-it's just not the same, make an effort.
