Steer well clear - Littlewoods let us down on Mothers Day

My daughter has just left really upset because she's waited here all day for the chocolates and flowers ordered for her Mum to arrive and they haven't been delivered.

The website didn't advertise the fact that delivery could happen at anytime before 9pm. (What possible use is that?)

And it certainly didn't mention that, actually, they won't be delivered at all!

Absolutely disgraceful.

Of course they'll tell us they tried to deliver but no-one was in.
Actually, my daughter waited here all day but that won't matter.

    Littlewoods let us down to. Flowers and chocolates to my mother and my boyfriends mother didnt arrive!! when I called up I was told I had to wait until 9pm before i could report them as undelivered. These flowers were also supposed to be from my sister who lives in Japan. Very dissapointing.

    please join my facebook group and spread the word. just search 'littlewoods ruined our mothers day'

    Come off it - while it's poor service that they let you down, do you really expect a company rep to be on here 24/7?

    Suggest you complain to Mark Newton-Jones, Shop Direct (Empire Stores, Great Universal, Kays, Littlewoods, Very, Marshall Ward, Woolworths) Chief Executive, via sending him an email to [EMAIL="mark.newton-jones@shopdirect.com"]mark.newton-jones@shopdirect.com[/EMAIL].

  • If they pick and choose the posts they respond to, I question why they are allowed here.

    Their website doesn't mention the fact that there is a risk that Littlewoods won't honour the contract despite debiting your account.

    And this website allows them to have a 'rep' on here to respond to some complaints - just some.

    You posted at 9:37 on a Sunday night. Twenty three minutes later you criticised the Littlewoods rep for not responding.

    Do you really expect a company rep to be on here 24/7?
    Do you respond to work emails no matter what time of day or night they are received?
