  • Hi,
I have started getting spam to the unique email address I gave to iflorist, so I'm definitely recommending to totally avoid this company.
Also have had very bad service from flyingflowers dot com.

Follow the advice here - Use a local florist. Online florists SUCK :(

  • I ordered a £39 bouquet for my Mum's Birthday and what arrived was an absolute disgrace. I would have been better off going to Asda and spending £40 on bunches of flowers. The 'bouquet' consisted of 14 flowers, most of which were cheap carnations, wrapped in cheap cellophane. They flowers looked like someone had visited Aldi and popped them in a box. I'll NEVER use this company again, expensive rubbish and the company should be reported under the trades description.

  • Do not buy flowers from Flowerfete or iflorist. I bought some flowers to be delivered on a specified date (a friend's birthday) but instead the flowers were delivered 3 days early and the courier dumped the flowers in the rain. I complained about this on several occasions over one whole month but did not receive. The manager said that they had a glitch with their email system and only the subject line was seen by their customer services team which is why they did not respond to my complaint - she said they were trying to fix this. It is not my fault they had a problem with their email system and could not communicate with customers!! Also if they were aware about this email glitch why did it take 1 whole month to fix? Surely it's something which could be fixed in a matter of hours (or at the most days).

I then had to chase up the complaint again and then only did I receive a reponse. They said they had a back log of orders and pushed the order through. I paid for flowers to be delivered on my chosen date but they failed to deliver on this date and so asked for a refund many times but they refused. They simply could not understand that it was unacceptable to deliver flowers 3 days before a birthday even though I had specified the delivery date using the calender on their website.

I was then in contact with the manager Emily who said she had issued a refund. But this was a lie. I checked my PayPal account and no refund was issued. I then had to set up a PayPal dispute and only then did I receive a refund. I asked the manager why she had lied but she refused to comment. It appears as though Flowerfete / iflorist are one of those companies who are more interested in taking customer's money rather than providing good customer services. I phoned their ofices and left my mobile number. I was told the manager would call me back but she never did.

Without my authorisation they sent more flowers 1 month later to my recipient. I was told that these flowers were sent to apologise for delivering early and had an apology note. However, instead of an apology note they sent another birthday card (even though the recipient's birthday was 1 month ago!).

I strongly do not recommend customers to buy from Flowerfete or iflorist. The best thing to do is go through a local florist since if you have any problems you have the option to go directly to them and sort out any problems.
  • Was offering "free delivery" for Valentine's Day and ended up delivering several days later. Customer service was simply appalling.

Given how many florists are out there, there is simply no reason to use these ones. Avoid.
  • We ordered a lovely basket of flowers for my mother-in-law as we couldn't be with her that day. While I do not expect the flowers to arrive at 8am as I know I am not the only customer, I was actually hoping for the flowers to arrive during the day. The link supposedy tracking the flowers was not working, there was no phone number to call. As we wanted to keep the surprise until the flowers arrived, we didn't say anything (bad move). The flowers arrived at 8pm with the poor excuse that they had tried to deliver from the morning. Apparently, they didn't find the house easily as the address wasn't complete...it was complete on confirmation invoice sent to me by email!!! I can see when I read the other reviews that I should count my blessings as I least I received the flowers...Their respond to my email to them (just stating the obvious and being sarcastic) was: "don't complain, at least you have got them on mother's day". I quote their unhelpful reply "Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us, Your order was delivered on Mother's day. Kindest Regards Iflorist". That's an apology?? Never mind!!!

I am utterly disgusted with this company iflorist.

Ordered flowers on Sat for my Mum to be delivered for Mothering Sunday.

Needless to say I entered into a whole saga as I forgot to check reviews. I joined the statistics of millions of ripped of consumers, as I realised halfway through Sun that Mum wouldnt be getting her flowers.

When they did show up on Monday afternoon, they were droopy and listless and resembled nothing of the pretty flowers advertised on iflorist's enticing website.

DONT BE FOOLED BY THE OFFER OF FREE DELIVERY IF YOU WANT YOUR FLOWERS BY NEXT DAY

My complaints and enquiries as to where the flowers were were met with "free delivery means a 48hr window" - whereas there was zero to indicate this, only huge type stating order before sat 12pm = In Time For Mothers day. In the T&C's also states guaranteed for Mothering Sunday, yet on next line also states the free delivery nonsense. Then the lousy offer of a voucher as way of a feeble apology? No thanks, as if I'd ever in my right mind use it.

How can this be classed as LEGAL

My advice complain to Trading Standards and pursue under
THE MISREPRESENTATION ACT 1967 (downloadable templates on trading standards website) and/or write to the directors (names easily found on search)

I will get my money back and go to court if I have to. I suggest everyone else who has suffered at the hands of these thieves does the same, eventually they will be forced to mend their ways, or someone should shut them down.
  • Flowers ordered for Mothering Sunday ... iFlorist claim to guarantee delivery, so when flowers fail to arrive, I email to ask what happened ... company respond with 'you should allow 48hrs around the delivery date' and 'it's in the T&C' (the T&C section 5.5 tells me they guarantee Mothering Sunday flowers by Mothering Sunday!), tell me my order will be delivered on Monday ... Monday comes and Monday goes ... another email ... zero response and zero contact ... a phonecall to iFlorist connects me to a man who tells me that 'your flowers were returned damaged in transit' ... really? So where was my phonecall/ email/ notification of any sort that these day-late flowers were damaged, I say? "Oh, well our system is a bit all over the place at the moment and we've been having some issues," he says - you don't freaking say! He then tells me he can re-order the flowers if I want him to ... Have you cancelled the order then? I say ... is that what happens? You tell the customer the flowers were 'damaged', keep their money, don't deliver and wait and see if they complain before you send another bunch? He laughs and then asks me if I want the flowers - which he can't organise for same-day delivery and will take at least another 24-48hrs - or if I want him to organise a refund ... I opt for a refund ... at which point he hangs up!
    Absolutely appalled.
  • I would imagine a cowboy operation such as iflorist employs an 'off the peg' answering service for customer calls & emails, which basically means the person at end of phone dealing with complaints has no authority or means to offer a refund because they are in effect a robot.

In other words a convenient way of passing the buck, make it as complicated, or inconvenient as possible to claim refund of money essentially thefted with the intention that unhappy customers will give up and go away. No loss to iflorist, millions of other customers to bait.

Pretty fowl practice, exploiting people who want to gift their loved ones and put trust in this company. What sour taste they leave and spoil it for everyone.
  • Sadly the whole experience with Flowerfete.co.uk / iflorist has been appalling.

Initially after many attempts of trying to order online, I was unable to do so due to the website not responding so called customer services instead and placed an order over the 'phone.

I specifically wanted to order a bouquet of Freesia's, and was really pleased when I thought that this is what I had ordered. I now realise that without any prior contact or any mention in the e-mails telling me that my order is ready to be dispatched, that this has been changed to something completely different…..to something that I didn't want or order.

Spent too much time trying to send a message via the website and was unsure if it had even sent, as similarly to trying to place the order in the first place, it doesn't work properly. Apparently the e-mail address that I initially registered with when trying to order online isn't recognised so then had to hold for 15 mins to get through to a customer rep. If the company policy is to substitute orders for other things if they're no longer in stock then surely this should be pointed out on the 'phone at point of order and the customer should be instructed to read the terms and conditions as they're are clearly very different to other florists - I've never experienced substitution before? I have since left 2 messages for the manager asking for for a response and it's been ignored.

I had asked for flowers to be delivered to a residential address. First iFlorist did not inform me that their delivery agent was unable to deliver the flowers. This was absolutely unacceptable as the flowers did not reach on the date they were supposed to, which defeated the entire purpose of sending them. Finally when I enquired myself as to what was causing the delay, I was not given a reliable estimate as to when they would be delivered. It turned out the flowers were never delivered!

So what did I get in return when I lodged a protest? A £5 voucher to use iFlorist again. Yes, exactly what I need – a voucher subsidizing a further waste of my money? Please AVOID these THIEVES at ALL COSTS!
