    Hello all,

Ancasta Sorry to hear you're ill, but great news on the exchange!

Had our flat inspection - the guy was here 2 minutes, said everything was fine and then left (OH obviously did a good job of pinning our bedroom curtain back together then! - I haven't had chance to sew it yet).

Postie also arrived with my VERY important parcel (birth certificate) so now...I can start work on Thursday! Yes, I have a temporary job working as a Data Entry Clerk for Royal Mail, until 23rd December, which I'm really pleased about because the pay is pretty good and the job is a cakewalk. Hooray!

Hopefully I'll do some Ebay listings today. I sorted out all my 'stock' (read: old tat) and now know exactly what would be good to put on there just before Xmas.

    Have a good day xx

    Good Monday everyone!

Well I took the littleuns to see Santa arrive/show at canary wharf sat - 5 mins before he arrived the Heavens Open!!!! everyone ran inside and they had to abandon the singalong show - nevermind! DD had her face painted (later it came off all over her coat!) Then there was a LONG LONG queue for santas grotto:eek: but we had a nice time and it got us out of the house for a couple of hours - dont you feel house-bound in this wet weather??? will it ever end?!

Got DH up in the loft to get down xmas decorations, have put some up but need to put some lights up outside. Also managed to wrap the kids pressies last nite and put away - GOSH I cant believe Im this organised already - seeing as I went away to Dubai very late I was expecting to be very disorganised!!! musnt knock it eh?!

Made some potato and leek soup yesterday for lunch for those at home today. Plus made shepherds pie for tonites dinner.

and whats happened to the England Cricket Team ??? are they still on the plane?? (aussielass no sniggering now!)

Those ebaying: I just got email saying its 15p listing day tomorrow. HTH

snowy/catowen - They have got the Morphy Richards Slowcooker at Robert Dias on offer at the moment - dont know if that helps you?

    Hi Everyone,

Just a quick post at the mo. I went to the doctors this morning to be told I have sinusitis, and have been given antibiotics. OTherwise everything is okay. My DS is having fun with his new cardboard box, and I'm going to try and have a sort out around the house, if I feel up to it.

Hope everything goes okay for your move Ancasta, and hope everynoe else has a good day.

    Bye for now...POwie

Well my first OS shopping arrived today, DP was looking at me rather strangely as I unpacked it without a ready meal in sight, so I have no excuses now, and can finally make that Weetabix Cake/Brownies. It was probably more expensive this week as I had £9 of bathroom accessories and some things I won't have to buy weekly like flour, sultanas, herbs etc, but still impressed as it came to just over £50.

Off to read my flylady emails and fill in the flylady post on here.

Have a lovely day everyone :)
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200

    Afternoon all :D

Not been on the thread for a while - but just had to tell someone.

OSing is coming on in leaps and bounds - to the point where yesterday I made our own Lemon Curd rather than going out and buying a jar (the kids go through it at a rate of knots if allowed) :D

And ... *family collapses in shock* ... it's edible :rotfl:

Have plans for apple jam later in the week now - been putting it off for ages, but this has given me the confidence to have a go.
