well today I am going to be OS.

Cleaning, washing, ironing, shopping, dog walking, got some letters to post,
need to call in on a friend, few phone calls to make.......dont think there will be enough hours in the day today....and this is my holiday?

Good Moaning

Had a terrible weekend. The solicitors messed up our exchange on friday, then i was rushed in to a&e with "womens things" and spent the rest of the weekend whiter than flour (and im usually rosy cheeked) not better and i should have been back at a&e today but hubby took bank card and loose change to work with him so ill have to wait for him to get back . grrrr.

no food in the house as no shopping was done at the weekend so that should be quite good for my diet.

I plan on doing nowt but lying on the sofa wallowing in self pity!

If anyone can send me some toast with brown sauce on and a glass of OJ then i will love you forever

Morning all,

W*** later after school run and a further ouple of hours in bed! Not a happy frugalpie as decided to be totally not OS and buy a massive LCD TV and when we unpacked it the screens knackered!!!!!!:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

OH will be on the phone to the shop as soon as they open to arrange a replacement.

Today has been a bit of stinker heat wise. We got a full load today so w**k tomorrow on the house will be full steam ahead. DH got a hair cut as well. :eek:

Snowy - mine was a Cookworks, which i got from Argos a couple of years ago, but i cant see it in there now!!!! Im desperate for a new one, i use it a lot this time of year, but im going to wait for the sales in January.

Well, the weather here is horrible, first little one already here, but i have made the packed lunches already!!!! I have someone coming to collect the broken dishwasher today, sometime between 7am and 10.45 am (apparently!!!!) and they are meant to be ringing me when they are 10 minutes away, as i do have to take the children to school and dont want to miss them. I have told everyone i have spoken to, that it is full of water, but whats the betting they still get a surprise and spill it all over my floor!!!!
I do need to get some milk and eggs, but cant go shopping until the DW has gone, so hopefully they will be earlier rather than later, as i said we would make cakes today, and we cant until i get the eggs!!!

Cat - Just think how clean your floor will be after they've stomped about in the water with their muddy boots on :rotfl:

Decorating starts today - I will finally have a living room back by the end of the week - complete with dining extension (posh eh) - it's been 12 weeks of hell (that's builders for you though).

The added advantage of my Dad doing the decorating is that my Mum will come down for the day today and can give me a hand with a few jobs - she's already told me not to do any ironing over the weekend so that she can get stuck in - who am I to argue!!!

First job on the list (I'm already up dressed, breakfasted and hooverings been done, packed lunches are made and DD's are eating brekkie)...is pack up my weekend ebay sales....as you can see from my sig. I did better than I hoped already this month - still got 25 more items to list later in the week :j

OS wise - need to get the BM going, will use the remainder of last nights Goose breast for sarnies today (I wasn't overly impressed on the goose flavour) and I intend to let the washing machine have a manic hour or two with a hot wash cycle and a scoop of soda crystals - just to give it a clear through. Must remember to water all the house plants too.

Just a quick one for me as I head out the door. A very OS weekend, my house now shines
Not much OSing today as its straight to college from work.

Its payday tomorrow :j , so need to do my month end figures ( am taking this to work to try and do in a spare 5 minutes )

Managed to get the last Christmas prezzies yesterday at a really good craft fair. Just need to get my act together on the card making

Morning all

Finally managed to finish all my pickled onions this weekend so that's one more job out of the way. The problem is now I stink of onions

We had a fab time at the Good Food Show yesterday although loosing the car exhaust just outside of the NEC didn't add to the day at all :eek: :eek:

RAC came out and took us to a local garage but they couldn't get the parts in until today so we had to drive home at a very, very slow pace. Absolutely shattered now today.

Anyway plan for this evening is to finish the ironing mountain and file all the paperwork I've been putting off.
