I'm in the middle of reclaiming my bank charges from Lloyds TSB. My claim is for just under £5000 and it has reached the court stage. They have entered a defence and I am trying to fill in the allocation questionaire. Can anyone help me with the questionaire or has anyone been this far with Lloyds? Now starting to get sleepless nights!

  • Thanks to Rex-Mundi for the advice. One other thing though, should I attach copies of the original letter to the bank and of my statements with the charges on them? Also do I need to send a copy of the questionaire to Lloyds?

You don't send any letters with this form, and no, you don't send a copy to the bank. This form is only for the judge to decide the best way to proceed with your case. It is not for you to state your case.

    Hi all,

I have now got a court allocation question to complete, i have read up on how to fill it in, but i cant find much information on what I should be putting in Section G of the form.

This is a small claims track claim for £2.5k from Lloyds TSB.

I have read that this is where you ask the judge for standard discloure?

Any help or advise would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Paul

  • I have a quick question.

The court fee of £100 that goes with the AQ – is it only payable if your claim is over £1500? The court told me that it wasn’t applicable to me, as my claim is only approx £1300, but people over on the Bank Action Group are adamant that I am supposed to pay the £100 no matter how much my claim is for.

I’m really confused, and would hate to mess things up at this stage, but I’ll have to borrow the £100 if I do have to pay it, so don’t want to have to borrow it for no reason.

    Help?

You do not pay for the allocation questionnaire if your claim is under £1500.

    Quote (from HERE)................

    Allocation to track:

claims for money of £1,500 or less .........no fee
    all other claims .......£100

If you are in any doubts. Phone the court your case is allocated to.
