Court costs are linked to in this thread, you will have to pay a fee on a sliding scale. Also a guide to the AQ is in the thread..

Issued claim on Lloyds TSB through MCOL for penalty charges amounting to £1560.00. Have received back that they have filed a defence to my claim and sited, in as brief a fashion as I can, the terms of the agreement when I opened the account stating that contractually I was made aware of these terms and that they do not consider that the penalty charges are illegal. I have already paid £120 for the original claim to Northampton County Court and in order to proceed I have to agree to Transfer of Proceedings to my local Court at a further cost of £100. Don't have a problem with this, but could do with some advice as i'm in uncharted territory.0

Next will be filling in the Allocations Questionnaire! I'll pop your post into that thread so can read up about it and if you read the Reclaim Help Thread which is linked in my signature you'll also find a guide there.0

My claim is just under £3k, I understand I need to pay an additional £100 (correct?), the guide for filling it out says I should reference any documents, although I believe I don't need to send my statements/letter copies just yet, so should I just write "I believe the case will last no longer than 1 hour." and leave it at that? Or is there something else I should send with the form? Sorry for dumb question but I don't want to miss something out at this stage, advice much appreciated!0

Yes its £100 for claims over £1500 and the "no longer than 1 hour" is correct.
Have a read of Rex's guide in the Reclaim Help Thread link in my signature.0 -
Thanks for all the brilliant posts about completing the AQ, I have just written mine against First Direct. Hopefully we'll actually come to a successful conclusion soon. Couldn't have done it without all the support on this forum so once again Thanks. Eva0

Thanks - from that link it also says:It is important in this section (section G, other information) to ask the judge to order standard disclosure. The judge has the power to ask your bank to provide evidence of their actual costs at the hearing regarding your bank charges0 -
I don't know so I'm going to sneak off to work and leave that question for someone else0
