    Hello everyone

My allocation questionnaire had to be back at Tunbridge Wells County Court by 31 January. I've completed it and I'll send it back first class tomorrow.

What happens next, and on what sort of timescale?

    Thanks very much,

    Clare

You will be given a hearing date by the court. Depending how busy they are, this may be a few months away. You will also get a date that you need to send your full paperwork in for your case.

In the meantime (hopefully), your bank may send you a cheque for the whole amount of your claim. Keep your fingers crossed!!

Yes I shall do that today as on the Notice of Issue received it does state
"You must inform the court IMMEDIATELY if you receive any payment before a hearing date or after you have sent a request for enforcement to the court".

So although I have rejected the money and requested full payment I now need to accept this amount as part payment as they have not removed it from my account. Complicated but hope this is right!

About to type my letter. Can somebody please confirm that I only need to say the bank have deposited the money in the account, I have rejected this as full payment was requested but now understand I should accept this sum as part payment and revise my claim accordingly. Then send them revised schedules with the letter.

    Thank you.
  • Afternoon all,
Ive sent back my allocation questionaire, and Im wondering what can I expect now. The letter, and the place for the trial (?) Wolverhampton court, which is my home town. In all the earlier stages there are reassuring deadlines to keep the whole thing ticking along, but now it seems alot more open ended.
Am I right to sit and wait, or should I contact the court to see where things are at. I sent the allocation Questionaire off on the 10th Jan, so its been a week. I just dont want to mess this up through inaction. Anyone any idea on likley time scales?
Any advice on this as always much appreciated.

    Thanks

Hi - I just did the same thing. I put a claim through on MCOL using the template supplied by Martin. However the template I downloaded from the Recalim Your Charges page didn't have the opening line which refers to my account and the date it was opened. I didn't think the court would need my account number...should I retract my claim and put it through again?

You can provide this information at a later stage of your claim. Carry on with this claim for the moment, and submit any more info as it is needed/asked for.

Thanks Rex. So now I just wait the 14 days for HSBC to respond? I just logged into my MCOL account and am looking at the claim menu. Under judgement next to the claim I put through yesterday it says Start - I follow this link when the time is up?

Thanks to all the board monitors for doing such a great job. I've been lurking for a good few months now, picking up so much invaluable advice!
