If anyone like me is still after a cross cut shredder then Woolies have a good one reduced to half price from £29.99 to £14.99.

The link below is the closest match but it does not seem to be online (in-store only perhaps) - My one:

shreds 5 vs. 10 papers
14 vs.28 litre bin
silver vs. cream colour
but... 9 vs8.5 inch throat.

...Although the one shown below says it has the capacity to shred 10 sheds!

(Must be very powerful!)

Oh well done to 'hellofreebies' for finding & posting the link to this shredder and yes you are right it is an excellent one - used it for a couple of binloads so far (including staples, 1 credit card, and plastic window envelopes, also risked some sticky backed paper with my delivery details just to test but likely to get stuck on your machine so probably not worth risking it just for the odd label unless you fancy unpicking pieces of it off the machine afterwards) Good tip is to line the bin beforehand so as to just lift out and chuck! I am very pleased with this one as it has the positive side effect of helping me to declutter much faster and organise paperwork more efficiently too.

yeh..thanks to you lilmiss cheap as i went down woolies and bagged my one at this price....quite sturdy and heavy piece of kit...think it wouldve been worth the £29.99rrp also. just noticed argos got one for £9.99..any one know if its a better spec?

Tesco Extra in Beckton are selling Cross Cut Shredders reduced from £19.99 to £14.99...Plenty left as of Sunday 28th.

My Shredder arrived and so far so good. The only downside is the size of the bin( a little small) but otherwise a good buy, shreds cardboard easily :T

Not sure if this is too late but:
I went to Staples the other day, and for about £25 they had a cross-cut shredder which can handle up to 18 sheets CDs, and credit-cards. :j
