Woolworths have a special offer on their de-luxe Cross Cut Shredder at present. Reduced from £29.99 to £14.99 a massive saving of £15.00 This is £5 better than their previous offer. Just off to get one, they have loads in stock. Also available on their website but £3.95 for delivery

Just collected the WHS model mentioned in earlier thread @ £24.99 online. No delivery charge for local store pick up. Excellent machine. Get what you pay for I guess. Looked at Woolies model but no where near same quality.

hi, not sure if anyone can help with this, but i picked up one of the whsmith models and when i opened it, found that it had been used before (bits of paper were still trapped in it). i am not sure if it is something to be worried about or to complain about...does anyone have any ideas?

It will more than likely be left over from quality control testing or something

I got the WHSmith one a couple of weeks back and it's a great machine ... already shredded about 4 bin loads of paper and it does credit cards too!

I am very pleased with my Woolworths shredder,(see earlier post). We don't have a Stationery Box Store near us (they were recommended some time back) and if you try to find them on the web it is impossible. I gave up after about 6 pages on Google, so went for the Woolies offer. For other members if little tracey has their website address if they have one, it would be a good idea to post it on here.

  • Sorry don't have Stationary Box web address, my local one was Broad Street Mall in Reading, Berks.

They do have an address (above) but it only seems to give details of where stores are, rather than online shopping. Hope this helps.

Have tried to click on the link for the WH Smith shredder but it is no longer working. Noticed today instore in WH Smiths a nice-looking dark blue plastic (slightly transapent) shredder going for just £14.99 (seemed to indicate that it supported 3 different classes!). Does this sound like the same one as the £24.99 one?
    Thanks, Tx
