Does that not smack of jealousy?

    There is an old saying..
"You do not know my life until you have walked a mile in my shoes"

or in my case... hobbled, limped, wheeled 50 yards in my pain.:rotfl:

That does not smack of jealousy ,what ist says is why should the joe public or SHE work all hours and struggle to pay bills and bring up children ,when some people are claiming DLA etc fraudently ,sitting on there !!!! all day and reaping all the benefits.

I agree if they want the benefits take the disability but fraudsters get it both ways more money and no disability.

I have a severely disabled daughter and it p*SSES me off too,big time and the rest of the country.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Mum/carer to Dallas who has Aicardi Syndrome, everyday i look at you makes my life fulfilled.

Does she KNOW the person is a fraud or just THINKS/ASSUMES the person is a fraud. Does she have access to medical records/specialists exercise recommendations?
She says she is a care worker and can "tell" a real disabled person. Really? Not a nurse or doctor then?
I hung the washing out today, I also weeded the flower bed. Naughty me!
I also passed out for 3 hrs on the sofa BECAUSE I hung the washing out and weeded the flower bed!

I have a cousin on HRC who regularly runs marathons, is he a fraud? No he is Autistic.

this is the trouble with people making assumptions and not knowing the full story dont accuse unless you know 100%.

But you can't know 100% that's unrealistic. Doesn't mean nobody should ever be reported though.

Reporting somebody doesn't mean you're having their DLA taken off them just that it'll get looked at again, more closely,

    I know it's not a nice process but it's a necessary evil.

Yes, but someone who knows that he is on DLA, without knowing the reasons for this, might see him running a marathon and think 'he gets DLA, there is obviously nothing wrong with him'.

    And that is the point.

There are lots of reasons why people get DLA, not all of them are obvious to the person in the street. It doesn't mean the the autistic person who runs a marathon is a faker, and it may not mean that the apparently able bodied person you see in the street is a faker either. Without knowing their circumstances the uninformed observer cannot know why that person gets DLA.

But the OP has said it's due to back problems so it's not like she's reporting somebody for something which that disability clearly shouldn't prevent them from doing,
