Which Court ?

Hi Guys,
I've just had my acknowledgment of Service from the court.
I live in Devon, the bank address is Milton Keynes and the court to hear my claim is NORTHAMPTON!!
Seems a bit odd.
Looking at other threads, some people have taken a couple of hours off work, gone to the hearing, and been back at work for lunch.
Do I have any say in this??
Thanks again0 -
Northampton is the court nearest to MCOL, should your case actually end up in the court it will be transferred to the court nearest to you.0

You do not need to insert the name of the court. Just leave it out.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Nationwide have refused to pay any charges back, so now we want to send the letter to take court proceedings. The only thing is, we have no idea what court we are supposed to enter in the letter. Any ideas and suggestions?0

Hi,
Help please....what authority do you put on your letter, (number 3) if your claim from the bank is over £750 in Scotland. I'm sure there's a post somewhere about it, i can't find it though......no patience!
Thanks to all for the helpful info.0 -
You put in the name of your local county court or in Scotland it will be the name of your local Sheriff Court, however you can leave it out altogether

Hi Im a newbie!
I have already sent the first template letter to Halifax requesting the refund of £3913 (not including interest) worth of charges dating from Sept 2003. I have since received a letter from them saying that they have sent a copy of my letter to consumer relations and I should hear from them in due course! That was 10 days ago and to date I havent heard a whisper from anyone!!
I have now looked at the template letter for the second letter (threatening court) and am a bit unsure what court I am meant to insert in the letter. Is it supposed to be small claims court??
I would be grateful for any advise as I am really anxious to forward the second letter and reclaim money owed.
Thanks0
