There's no need whatsoever to tell them what court.

They would find out if and when it got that far.

    No probs.

Also, note EdinburghLass's post and the link in her sig.

If you want to put the court name in the letter, then go ahead, but there really is no point at all.
  • I am sorry in advance but I think this has been asked before and can't remeber the answer?
I am posting my LBA letter today and it asks me to state the court I will be filing my case to. Do I put MCOL?
    I live in warrington.
    Many Thanks

I just need a bit of help as not sure of the next step re court- HSBC have said (within 14 the day period) that they are looking into it. I want to send the next letter to say that they have limited time before I start court proceedings. Now, this may be obvious but how do I find the court? What sort of court does it need to be and should it be one near to me or near to the address of the dept I'm dealing with, or in the area of my branch?

    any help welcomed!

    thanks

Either leave that bit out of the letter or put in the name of your local court.
  • Could anyone please help me .I am about to print out the third template letter from Martins website, on relaiming bank charges. I need to know where you can you find out the name of the court you should use, so as i can enter it on the letter. THANX
  • Hi There,

    Try this link:

    http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/HMCSCourtFinder/

Just select a region from the 'court region search' tab and a list of courts will be displayed...
