Hello everyone!
I hope you all are okay...
I have been very busy with work and going out way too much in the past week  I have already spent my general spend money for this month, I need to look at this for next month. Currently eating into my surplus in my c/a.
I have received a statement regarding my ISA S&S and for once, i was very happy to see it, as it is now back in the black :j. I love the fact i keep forgetting i even have one( It is going towards the old age fund:rotfl:)
I have been wondering if i should start purchasing more Premium Bonds, just would like to get some for my birthday as i already have some (how sad is that:rotfl:)
I have added another £2 coin, sig already updated

Hi Sylvia!
You're doing fantastic! I wouldn't worry about spending on going out, you have to enjoy yourself sometimesI have often thought myself: What's the point saving all your life by scraping by, you just end up dying rich and not having had a fun life!
Glad to hear that your S&S ISA is doing well! I am too risk adverse to get one of those!
Premium bonds? Why? I think you are better off putting that money into savings accounts as at least you'll be guaranteed a return! How well have your current premium bonds yielded?
I'm still waiting for my first payday in the new job, which should come this Friday, it's taking forever lol! :cool:0 -
Ohh wow I am defnitely following this thread - just stumbled on it.
I have savings in Premium Bonds - £25k and I have found it to be the best of all the "no risk" places I have used.0 -
Just wanted to say a big well done!
You should be SO proud of yourself!!!DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Just like spending - saving can be addictive. But often you have to break the spending habit to realise the saving habit is much better!0

that is the problem about saving being addictive. I saved up for a new car but am not inclined to buy one lol0
