Hi eveyone!
I hope you are all okay and thank you all for the lovely post
I have been really busy at work and also injured my leg at the beginning of the week, which means no running my race for life tomorrow  (doctors orders).
Got my Tax disc in the post this week, as a result i am £115 lighter:(
Savings
I am in two minds right now regarding me putting £7k in the current NS&I index linked saving Cert as i have £5k(travel holiday money) already in the previous issue. Or should i wait until i have £10k - £15k? I have heard this issue has not been that popular so most likely to be available abit longer than the previous issue... hmm
Bye for now...

Hey Sylvia,
Glad to see you're doing so well, you are nearing your final target quite fast now!
Echoing what others have said, I would also put money into NS&I's index linked certs asap, as you never know when these will be withdrawn! I am waiting for one of my savings bonds to mature and plan to move my money into these certs too!
Where are you going on holiday to? Hope you enjoy yourself :j0 -
Hello everyone!
Here it is...
To Do List for August- Get car serviced
- NS&I's index link certs
- Get a new top for job interview:eek:
- Do a car boot sale
- Don't over spend for birthday and time off work :rotfl:
. Unfortunately i am not going abroad this summer, maybe towards the end of the year. By doing this log i am able to keep on track unlike before 3/4 holidays a year
I have finally got a date for my job interview:eek:, at one point i actually thought they lost my job application.
Bye for now...

Hello everyone!
I hope you all are okay, just a quick update...
On the savings front, I have finally managed to get my NS&I index link certs sorted out with £7k :j. Just hoping with what has been happening with the current economic climate in the last few days does not make the RPI to head towards zero again.
I am still planning to get more Premium Bonds end of the month,as I have decided to only purchase £100 worth which covers the amount i use to spend on my Lotto for three months. This is obviously my substitute for the Lotto ...
Bye for now

Well done Sylvia,
wishing you lots of luck for the job interview too0 -
Hello everyone!
This week has been one of those weeks I do not wish to repeat any time soon, with the riots and road closures. It has also been a very long and stressful working week too as I ended up working over time practically everyday. At least once I get this money, it will be going towards my newer car fundWell done Sylvia,
wishing you lots of luck for the job interview too
Thank you Lula-Hula, my job interview will take place this coming week. I am very nervous, but need to do it even though I do not feel ready:eek:
I am still on budget this month and my car will hopefully be serviced tomorrow as it was cancelled last Monday, due to the riots and road closures
Bye for now...
