I have sent 15 emails to LoveFilm over the past couple of months and got nowhere. I've finally bit the bullet and phoned Boots customer service and they've added the points to my card. :T :T :T
Seems a shame that Boots are having to pay out for LoveFilm's mistakes, I hope someone there is feeding back the dissatisfaction of customers to LoveFilm...
YAY for Boots though! :T :T :T0 -

I think you'll find that Boots is billing Lovefilm for every single voucher it's having to mail out. And the cost to Boots of the admin involved.
Lovefees apparently doesn't give a damn for its customers.
But where its "commercial partners" are concerned -- especially those with a blue-chip image, a bit of which Lovefees fervently hopes will rub off on its own image (known in PR speak as 'gilt by association') -- Lovefees will be anxious indeed not to have the word get out amongst major brand names that dealing with it could bring a barrel-load of headaches.
So the outcome of this Great Lovefilm Offer is that Boots' reputation has soared. Whereas Lovefilm's. . . :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Hi Ya,
Got the same drap from Lovefilm as below.
Dear Kate,
Thank you for your recent email.
Please be advised that you will not be getting this Boots voucher, as according to our terms and conditions there should be 10 titles added to your selection list at the time of registartion as there are only 5 titles added to your selection list you are not redeemed for this voucher.
Should you have any more questions, please do let us know and we will be happy to assist you further.
Kind regards,
Roopa

E-mailled them several times before I got an answer, as I cancelled end of December 2006. I've just replied back to them stating :-
1) I did have more than 10 titles at one time
2) I was a paying customer for almost 2 months + this is how you treat us?
3) When I canncelled the man said I'm entilled to the voucher & will be sent out that week.
4) Appauled that couldn't even use a £30 gift voucher towards my rentals - after asking a freind to register.
5) I have been a very loyal customer to Boots & they would not advise me of an offer that would not be fulfilled & you have disgrace there name
6) Re-view my case & if you have the same output will be contacting Trading Standards.
Hope I get somewhere with this now. The £15 Gift Voucher was meant for my cousin who gave birth in January - no good to her now!!
Im gonna give till Friday before I ring Boots for my points. Im soo angry that customers have been treated like this. Hope Boots have learnt their lesson.

James_N I did the same, mentioned that I would take my complaint to Boots and received a similar reply from Cheryl.
After Lovefilm lying, saying I did not qualify for the voucher, I requested that they take another look at my account. LF replied and told me I did qualify. I've been told that I will receive the vouchers but after more than 3/4 weeks plus the 28days I'm still waiting
How long has everyone else had to wait after finally being told they will receive the vouchers? The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

Well this may help a few ppl. I have just got the correct number for LoveFilm
0844 482 0123. You will most probally have an asian on the phone. They may ask you to repeat yourself a few times. So just been told will be refered to their customer service, doubt get anything thought.
Also just a remeinder for those who paid for a month or so. If you out in your advantage card you are entitlled to additional 200 points + 4 point for every £1 spent on subscription. Ive just earned myself £2.39 great :-)
Just hope all of us really bug lovefilm for our vouchers & points so they get fed up of us.0 -
Stop contacting lovefilm...
i sent boots a brief email explaining that i still havent had my voucher from love film and they are giving boots a bad name due to their bad customer service
and i recived the voucher from boots within 2 days.....
lovefilm will just send you round in circles...
good luck!0 -
I don't think I'll even bother contacting Lovefilm again as their responses seem to be one of five random and inaccurate answers...I've gone from being promised vouchers within 2 weeks to 28 days to not qualifying
I contacted Boots a few weeks ago by e-mail, at the time they suggested getting back to LF, but if I needed further advice to contact them. I have now ...twice...no response there either. I will try phoning Boots cs but I must admit I've become fairly despondent about the whole thing!

I sent an email to Boots thanking them for my £15 voucher but adding that I was still disappointed with the Lovefilm offer and whole experience and I had a call to say they were adding an extra 500 points to my card as an apology for the experience! Well done Boots-just hope leaving Lovefilm will be as simple.....0
