Still no voucher, silly responses to my emails from Lovefilm.
I finally emailed Boots about it, not yet heard back from them but let LF know I had contacted Boots, however LF didn't seem to be bothered at all :mad:The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

Just had a email from Lovefilm
Dear Dean,
Further to our previous email.
We can confirm that a voucher has already been sent, however it appears to have been lost in transit. A replacement has been dispatched and should be with you within 21 days.
I hope this answers your query, if not please don`t hesitate to contact us
again.

I'm also getting nowhere with them. I have been batteling it out with them for weeks about a £14.99 they took from my account as they are claiming the dvds I returned and cancelled in plenty of time did not arrive.
They said they's send me a form to say the have gone lost in post but still havn't had it . Apparently if I dont "co-coperate" they charge me £20 - easy way of making another £20 if you ask me.!!!0 -
Welshlamb - go straight to your credit card company - explain the situation & tell them that it was an unauthorised payment. Tell them you have kept all the documentation. They should credit it back to you without a fuss.0

it came out of my bank account....0 -
Ah - I see. Well if it was a DD, then you should be covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee, and you need to go to your bank and explain it was unauthorised.

I'd do that rather than waste time with LF, but if you are going to deal with them at all, do ensure that you are using the senior management emails detailed on this thread, and avoid the CS automatons.0 -
I'm another person who's had huge problems with Lovefilm. I returned my one and only disc, canceled my subsciption within time - however they claim to have not received the disc and have gone on the charge me monthly fees when I've rented no DVD's, - putting my bank account overdrawn- I've been out of the country. Various excuses have followed - I should have filled ina screen saying the disc was returned, they implied they knew they had the disc but it wasn't their job to update their own records! etc etc etc.
Needless to say, no Booys voucher has ever materialised.....0 -
I've read the first and last page of this thread and suspect it's not a good idea to sign up with lovefilm for the free trial and then cancel.
Sounds like people are having a lot of problems.

I'm yet another disgruntled customer of LoveFilm. It all started when 50% of the DVDs I was sent were unplayable or skipped through large sections of the film - incredibly annoying. Then at the end of the free trial, I cancelled my subscription and sent the DVDs back, only for them to send another out to me! This of course meant they took another months subscription off my credit card because technically, I had a DVD at home still! I sat it out and had another month of rentals, still, only some were able to be watched all the way through. I then sent an email via Martin's special address to see what had happened to my Boots voucher and they said it has now been added to my acocunt, about 8 weeks ago! I have sent several emails and they keep telling me to wait!! Now, after telling me to wait one more week, I emailed again to be told to wait another 30 days. They're completely useless. It seems Boots are being very fair so I shall go to them and cut my losses with LoveFilm.0
