Well i've been though all the process with lovefilm and had no trouble with them at all and received £15 today, cant believe it be honest after reading all the horror stories:T0

I emailed Lovefilm querying when I would receive my voucher and they said that I did not qualify. I then took Hollydays excellent advice (have sent you a PM thanking you) and emailed Boots CS on 13th January.
My Boots giftcard arrived this morning - quite surprised but delighted.
thanks Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

My twist to this story is to be emailed by Lovefilm asking for my "Boots Card" number. When I queried this (as in "What are you talking about?", I had an answer saying it had been passed to the resolutions department.
Any ideas?Under no circumstances may any part of my postings be used, quoted, repeated, transferred or published by any third party in ANY medium outside of this website without express written permission. Thank you.0 -
Resolutions Department-what the hell is that?0

thanks to whoever suggested going through quidco as well (it was someone near the beginning of the thread i think ) :beer:I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I e-mailed Boots customer services a couple of weeks ago as per a suggestion on here, and didn't get a reply to the e-mail. But a £15 giftcard and letter of apology arrived yesterday from Boots. The letter says that they have passed my comments onto their specialist site teams to look into at the next review. Maybe they'll re-think their relationship if enough people have complained.

. . . and hopefully, for the benefit of any future consumers who might be thinking of signing up to any Lovefilm "offer" via a Lovefilm "partner", Boots will ensure the wider retail world knows of its own experience. . .0

my oh got the free trial, after i said not to because of trouble previously.
he did everything as stated and waited for the voucher, nothing arrived.
He called the free phone number and explained, the lady said that due to high demand the had been an error in sending the voucher, she was very sorry and had it sent out. It did take nearly 3 weeks for it to arrive but he got it in the end.(a total of 12 weeks from signing up to the voucher landing on the doorstep)0 -
Hi,
Thanks to Deanos post I called 0115 918 2000 (Boots) and they added £15 worth of points to my advantage card! I am so surprised at how easy it was, and after all the emails I sent to Lovefilm ending in being ignored, I wish I had called them sooner!0
