danster: copying DVDs without the owner's consent is one thing, undermining this board, another.

There are many, many posters here with legitimate greivances against Lovefilm (and the total seems to grow by the hour).

All such posts ultimately get picked up by Google and then by anyone who uses that search engine.

So you've done everyone here a big favour by merrily talking of ripping off Lovefilm should any Lovefilm employee or representative land here for a scan of this board. Thanks a bunch. Not.

On the basis of complaints here and elsewhere it's apparent that too much too often goes wrong with Lovefilm for it to be a business in which faith, let alone funds, should ever be invested. Pity Boots didn't seem to know that.

I have cancelled no problems - have saved accoutn cancelled email just in case. I read somewhere above that this email contained mention of the boots voucher mine didn't, does this mean i won't get the voucher?

If you haven't received it after 30 days, I would certainly follow it up. I should have known better than to use this lot as they have got bad reviews before but I can't help it - I'm a boots Junkie!! Over 8000 points to date and can't refuse an opportunity for some more.

sian - if you signed up through the Boots offer I suggest you send 'em a return email which contains the line:

"As I fulfilled the Terms of the Boots promotional offer, I will look forward to receiving my £15 Boots voucher within the specified time period."

or words to that effect.

Take no chances at all with this lot!

Actually, be a minor miracle if it helped anyone.

Be good if Boots was aware of this thread. Be even better if it appreciated that the T&Cs it is publishing on its flyer are significantly varied by Lovefilm's fine print. Boots really ought to have more sense than to risk its reputation like this.
