That depends on how difficult one wants to make ones life!
Dealing with a company like Lovefilm, I suggest 68p is worth the proof of postage.

pink: I mentioned earlier that PoP is just as good as Signed For when it comes to a £20 DVD. But it's not the Post Office's compensation scheme that's at issue, rather the wariness of many posters (like myself!) about relying solely on PoP, rather than a Signed For transaction number, when it comes to returning stuff to any supplier -- not just Lovefilm: I've no experience of how they'd handle such an issue, but agree with grenny that 68p is a small price to pay for an easier life. . .

Returned first (and only dvd), which was damaged towards the end (returned with proof of postage). No time to receive a replacement before trial ends, so cancelled this morning and now waiting for confirmation email. Expect to receive voucher sometime in the New Year.

In response to your recent e-mail, we inform that the promotion on your account is of Boots solus e-mail for 6 Free Rentals or twenty one days whichever ends sooner and £15 Boots Voucher. Further we would like to inform that the voucher is credited only after twenty eight days of subscription and is not available once the account is cancelled before availing the offer.

HI, had a scan thru but can see if anyone has posted the return addy for lovefilm discs - i've very stupidly misplaced the return envelope.
I plan on sending the disc back, in a jiffy bag, recorded delivery and then cancelling ... too much hassle to stay methinks.
If any one has the addy handy could they post it here please?

Greg: that's such an important post, and Grenny, you're so right about the T&Cs at sign-up, I hope you both won't mind but I've made it the topic of a separate thread.

As an earlier poster said here, this thread's now getting a bit long to plough through, so it would be a shame if Greg's information wasn't picked up on sooner rather than later.
