Evening all.
19 for me please Shaggy. It's past 9 and I know I'm not going to drink. I was thinking about how good a draught lager would taste this afternoon. When does this get easier? It's been about fifty-something days!!Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?0 -
Thank you May2013; it is indeed good to get the first AF day under my belt.
Well day 2 is going well, I don't think I'm going to have a drink now so I'm ready to declare 2 for the monthly challenge and 2 for the SNC. I've had 3 mugs of tea and about a litre of diet coke (I've been running to the loo all evening and burping for Britain!) because I'm used to having a wine glass in my hand all evening. What do other people drink instead of alcohol? I'd be glad of some alternatives to cola.
I've asked my OH not to offer me wine when he refills his own glass and he hasn't but I can see that I'm going to be tempted.:(0 -
Hope you all have a great evening with no BELLS
Thanks legs, bells have been totally silent here. When does this get easier? It's been about fifty-something days!!
It definitely gets easier but it can turn around and bite you on the bum at any time!:Dcaramelcaron wrote: »I've had 3 mugs of tea and about a litre of diet coke (I've been running to the loo all evening and burping for Britain!) because I'm used to having a wine glass in my hand all evening. I know lime & soda is popular with some but I found that the 'must have a glass in my hand' did pass after a while (quite a long while:))
9AF for me please Shaggy and that's my 3 for the SNC thanks Bearacus.
I'm going to be awol and not AF for the next week or so. I have an evening out planned for tomorrow, then usual weekend then visitors/away next week for half term, then the next weekend.......:o I promise to get my 10 in for October. Who said this month was hard? I'll console myself with the fact that there is no drinking to excess, just gentle, social stuff.0 -

1 AFD for me please Bearacus.
Have a good day!
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

October is always a month when I tend to give in to the bells big time at the weekend - but really, really trying to ignore them this year and have my lowest units October ever
;)
How interesting - October is usually a month I find easy - it's the summer months that do for meand December! and sometimes January if there is left over drink lying around....lol
